I am anxious to get mine, nervous too. Just wondering how they are going to ship it. I know the tail comes off but those legs look fragile. Will the body be seperate from the base? If so will the legs survive the journey?

I'm betting its in 3 pieces (maybe 4 if the rod is seperate), the base, the body, and the tail. I actually hope the rod is seperate, because I have some clear rods (same thickness) that I would like to replace the current metal one with. :D

It looks like its not touching the base ? Looking forward to receiving mine though

She arrived today :) but i can not get any of her feet to touch the base ? has anyone else had this same problem ??

thats a nice alien collection you got there, you should post more pics :) especially that life size alien :monkey3

Does the rod come out of the body? Damn that thing is big. The sculpture and paint look good but the legs not touching the base is unacceptable. I must have missed the "flying queen facehugger" part of the description. If this is the way it is supposed to fit then i will be pissed and they will get it right back. I'm hoping you just assembled it incorrectly. OH by the way, AWESOME ALIEN DISPLAY YOU HAVE THERE!!!!

i believe the one on display at SDCC touched the ground, so maybe you just have to put a little mustard into it

I thought that too but having looked at the Rod (its angled) i can see it will not go any further so i have a floaty Facehugger :(

Have you tried twisting the rod so that the flat parts line up in the body and base? In other words, when you installed the rod, could you still twist it?

Yep they clicked in place and will not twist at all but it really doesnt notice if she is lower than eye level so to me its not a huge issue i am just amazed at the paint and detail on her. I am glad i got this piece

lol use some engineering skills and just cut the rod down to the size you want it, thats what i would do, also where are these lifesize alien pics lol stop stalling :)
