So everyone one knows who this queen of the dead is? Why did I never hear of her before? She has to be a made up character. Sharknado? I will be worried to find out. I will leave it alone.

She's from Sideshow's all-new in-house line, titled "Court of the Dead". I think it was said somewhere that they were planning on making other media based on those characters, but they wanted to put out a number of statues before getting into that.

If I'm not mistaken, the Four Horsemen intended to do the same with their "Seventh Kingdom" property. They created the Seventh Kingdom as a series of action figures, with plans of expanding the franchise into possible anmated series, comics, and maybe even video-games.

There is a precedent for doing things this way. When Mattel created "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe", the toys came out first, while the animation, comics, and everything else, came later.

I just checked. It actually doesn't say either way on the website. It doesn't even have edition size anywhere on the page.

Yeah. We were all pumped for him when he was being teased, but then when he went up for preorder he had no exclusive as well as no edition size so most of us hesitated on preordering. He's also been delayed a few times (I think...I can't even remember anymore) so I think a lot of us are just waiting for in hand pictures before preordering. Originally there was concept pictures of this massive opened out head so it not being included was a bit of a letdown.

I'm not sure if he's being sold to other retailers and there's none on ebay. Makes me think this is "exclusive" to Sideshow. So unless they discount him much later I don't know if he's getting any cheaper.

Do you guys know if any of the Sideshow Original Dead line was ever available to retailers?

Honestly, I love the Queen so much, I will be getting her no matter what (well almost).
