Agree. If you have no intention of buying her, as you have already stated, there is no reason you need to be here trying to advocate for a higher price tag (and this is not directed toward Josh, but toward CBG).
Wait, I don't get it... he's advocating for a higher price tag? WTF???
Any word on an ex? Is it even going to have one?
What would the ex be? Toples? Different color bra? I think the best would be a portrait without the bone crown, just her straight black hair, maybe a tiara.
Nada yet, but I don't expect that kind of news for a bit. If I had to speculate, Jack the Ripper didn't have an EX, this may not either.
Shhh...don't, you'll bring it back and we don't need that.
SO...How you liking Queen of the Dead, my good man?
Honestly?
I love her! It's the best statue they've shown this year. I'm seriously planning on getting her.
Two days ago I said that I could never afford anything bigger than 1:6 scale, both due to prices and physical space for display. But I just can't resist her! I NEED that statue!
So, I'll be making an exception with this particular line. It's going to be the only series of Premium Format statues that I'll be collecting, or trying to collect anyway. For any other property, I'll be "mostly" sticking to my "rule".
Thanks for the advice and sharing your experience.
As time passed by, I went through an "evolution" of sorts in the hobby, too.
I started with the 7 inches figures from DC Direct, and the little figurines from Eaglemoss, but sold most of that stuff (sold all of those Eaglemoss littles things), and now I'm more statue oriented.
Lost a little the taste for action figures, whatever the scale, becaue I never felt completely comfortable with the looks of some articulation points. So, my switch to statues is very definitive, I think.
Thank you, Josh!
So far, I don't have much, but whenever I get some glass cabinets to display some of my things, I'll create my thread at the "Show your shelves" section.
Hell this new court of the dead line seems very interesting so far. Queen of the dead and Red Sonja are the biggest surprise must orders for me.
Even Martin Canale Jack the ripper i am starting to like..
They seem to get more flack on the licensed statues then the originals.
