No Reeve news? Seriously.
This effin company.

I believe they would've mentioned if they had plans or more LoTR figures planned for 2026 when they were asked about it. The fact they said they aren't considering anything past Sam and Frodo seemed to indicate that they are moving on from the line and focusing on what sells. They could always go back to it later but they seem to already have their hands full for the next 2 years, so I wouldn't expect Gimli, Boromir and so on any time soon. That makes more sense. They probably don’t want to be making LOTR figures 24/7. Hoping we at least see Gimli in 2026/2027 then. Be a shame if they just stopped completely.
Nobody asked them about it. Asian collectors don't really seem interested in Reeve, they care more about Justice League and Nolan's Dark Knight when it comes to Superman and Batman. No Reeve news? Seriously.

Which makes sense. Asian collectors are more in tune with 21st century IPs.Nobody asked them about it. Asian collectors don't really seem interested in Reeve, they care more about Justice League and Nolan's Dark Knight when it comes to Superman and Batman.
I'm sticking with Legolas. We don't know if more are made, and as he is, I think he'd pop in my collection regardless if he is alone or not.If there are no more Fellowship members, I'm inclined to cancel my Legolas pre-order, and just get out now.
I’m a little confused by this - no more LOTR after Sam and Frodo, but then Gandalf the White might happen? I guess since they already did Gandalf the Grey maybe it’s just no new characters.
- Sam and Frodo from Fellowship of the Ring seem to be the next and likely final LoTR figures, as sadly other characters from the franchise are not being considered at the moment.
- Gandalf the White might yet be made, Frodo and Sam are set to release in 2026.
This just sent spears down my heart..
- Terminator not coming any time soon, they'd like to get more experience before tackling the license.
You have a better idea of what is and what isn't a no brainer when you have PO numbers and market research data. I don't think a Gimli would sell particularly well and seeing as they aren't making him, they don't either.I seriously can't believe that about Frodo and Sam being the last of the LOTR figures. Gimli is a no brainer for them with all his hair.
Besides people will take to the streets with pitchforks if they don't complete the basic Fellowship of the ring.
Yes I was confused by this too, it seems like the Gandalf the White comment was made to backtrack on the answer that they have no plans for more Fellowship members, could also be that they want to get more out of Ian's likeness? Either way some Chinese collectors are not happy at all that they're seemingly dropping the line for now, but who knows how successful Legolas is? If I were to guess, they're not very confident in continuing the line with characters that are less popular than Legolas, if he didn't meet their expectations.I’m a little confused by this - no more LOTR after Sam and Frodo, but then Gandalf the White might happen? I guess since they already did Gandalf the Grey maybe it’s just no new characters.
Either way this is incredibly stupid by InArt. Why do five of the nine members of the Fellowship? Why do Legolas and Aragon without Gimli? Why not just make Boromir since he’s basically the same sized body as Aragorn?
This actually makes me want Sam and Frodo less. I’d rather see if Asmus can actually get it together and maybe get their versions. If I’m not going to have an InArt quality Boromir/Merry/Pippin, what do I need Legolas/Frodo/Sam for at InArt quality. And InArt prices.
That's not how this works. Aragorn and Boromir sharing the same 1/6 body doesn't mean he's an easy figure to make. They need to research and tailor the outfit from scratch, sculpt his face to his likeness, root his hair, sculpt all of his accessories, etc etc. They share nothing besides maybe using the same nude body underneath. Why not just make Boromir since he’s basically the same sized body as Aragorn?
