90s poll was added today.

I voted for Spawn, amongst others. It's got less literally no chance, but I wanted to see how far it'd go. These polls are pretty useless, let's be honest. They already know what will dominate, what the eternal favourites are, and the people adding random nonsense will never stop.

The most exciting was The Matrix and Last Action Hero.

I was able to add Nic Cage movies. One guy over there is crying because I called Groundhog Day a silly choice.

If you want that, contact Sideshow.

All I need from the Matrix now is The Twins. Rooted albino dreadlocks would be pretty unique and some translucent solid sculpt pieces of them in their demonic, ‘phased’ forms would look very snazzy.
Never gonna happen but fun to imagine.

Im staying well away from any polls and fb in general. Utter waste of time. I just need a rooted Aragorn from QS and then I can return to collecting stacks of subpar Hot Toys like the uncultured peasant I truly am.

It's kind of surreal to realise that paying 300€ for a doll is now peasant tier, and the true big boys are moving onto the 500-1K range.

I know, it’s mental. Any 1k (USD) deluxe pack will essentially eat my whole figure budget for that month which means I need to get way more selective with my collection and probably start shifting pieces. I suddenly feel absolutely no need to have anything from BOBF, any Mando side characters or Clone Troopers beyond Rex and Cody.

Trading the 4 HT POs and a couple of 3P figures per month habit for one QS deluxe and one other figure would at the very least preserve what little display space I have left for a little longer.

Waiting for the inevitability when the default/starting price range of 1:6 figures reaches $499.99 USD to $999.99 USD and collectors willingly pay such prices look down upon those who balk at such prices with disdain and collector elitism while justifying/rationalizing it online among like minded collectors.

It's not like that's already happening right?

HMMM . . . .

Your predicament reminds me of "Stuff" by the late great George Carlin.

A month?:horror This Joker will probably be one of only a handful or less 1/6 figures I buy all year. I think it was about 6 years or longer since I even bought a Hot Toy. Mainly because of my lack of interest in their stuff. A lot of the 1/6 figures I want either aren't or will probably never be produced, or things that haven't popped up yet but have a good chance. I am looking forward to what QS can do with Terminator if they end up producing something from either T1 or T2.

Another cluster****. That list will look identical to the 80s one.
Tobey Maguire/Andrew Garfield Spiderman are at the top of the list. Along with two entries for T2 and another for T1.

Braindead jackasses who either can't read or don't care to probably can't even afford to put down the money for all the random crap they're adding.

Queen Studios should have a fixed poll of license options, the 20 or 30 most iconic ones from each decade, without the option to add more. People can spam their idiosyncratic picks in the comments to be added if they get enough traction, but the main poll will remain uncluttered and easy to scroll through due to lack of redundancy or noise.

That sounds like a familiar forum/group.

:p

It's actually really frustrating to see, isn't it? Why do some collectors prefer to talk about this hobby on Facebook again?

Well, if nothing else, at least QS will read a definite interest in classic Terminator. With Hot Toys and then even NECA moving away from it I had started to believe that maybe there really was no love left for the license among the collecting community, even for the good films.
