I suggest some of you here contact Queen on Facebook and apply for the role of mods on their group because the polls and the discussion are mess, I also think Queen should start announcing their main poll options when posting the polls, like "Today we will be making a poll about which 80's movies you'd like to see figures off: Indiana Jones, terminator, Predator and Rambo are our main options, vote for the one you like the most!" at least then people would know which options were added by them and not people who can't read, because they now have a thread about 90's movies being dominated by Tobey and Andrew's Spider-men. :slap

Kids are stupid (adults too, maybe even moreso if they never grew up). :lol

People always post what they want -- not the answer to the question.

Any masked Spiderman would be the most uninteresting use of high-end material and pricing ever. He wears a full spandex suit. Get HT, its fine.

What Queen is doing is much better suited for complex outfits with lots of mixed media -- Jack Sparrow is a perfect example.

I had success with polls on Facebook by not creating an actual poll but naming the options with pictures and numbers and letting people cast their vote in the comments, it's more work since you have to read and count the replies but at least you don't have the polls hijacked by people who can't read or have no respect for what is being asked.

These polls are just to create a frenzy. Get people to start talking, complaining, whatever, etc. We've gotten these kinds of polls from other companies and look at all the products we've gotten. :poop: Nothing is coming from this except the talk about QS.

True, I have no issue with HT DX15 -- love it.

But... real hair, real metal swords, better furry whatever that is, real cloth bandana, leather boots, accurate overcoat... and the outfit from Pirates 1 rather than Pirates 5.

Queen mods when posting the polls...

This could be you, walking away from it all cold:

I'm in too deep to stop now. If I complete one thing, I need to complete the rest. If I collected what I truly loved, then my collection would be much smaller. Now, I can control my completionist tendencies enough to not go overboard and get caught in some FOMO grind. But I still need to check names off lists even if I'm not the biggest fan now. It's the Dooms and the Vaders that keep me collecting, but it's the Spider-Men that I "have to" buy.

Now you're just making me feel bad... If the DX15 can be easily outdone, then why am I even buying the goddamn HTs?!

Me I got into the scale and hobby for the guys in suits and outfits, so yes, bring me better tailoring and materials, and I'll be a happy guy. I'm never going to buy a Venom-type figure. Even Thanos was too much, and I got him because I knew I'd cave in and buy a Warlock.

I know it will never happen but I’d love to see a LeeLoo figurine. I’m so sick of the same characters being pumped out Year after year, it’s so boring.
Hopefully Queen deliver some obscure characters once they establish the new line with all these “been there done that” releases.

Submitting an entry early won't make it popular. The poll launched with "The Mummy: Colonel Richard O'Connell" as the first entry and it was shoved to the back of the line in a blink. All the top entries are littered with bots that immediately propel them to the top of the list, and then because they're the first thing people see, they get more real human votes than anything you have to press "see more" or, gasp, scroll down to see.

If I ventured a guess, I'm sure the pool of CF admins/mods would oblige and to use a paraphrase a quote by Negan from AMC's TWD, "They're going to shut that **** down." and put a clamp there, etc.

What goes on there is no different at times to what goes on elsewhere including here in varying nuances.

It's a matter of how annoyed and irked those participating in such polls are because they're taking it seriously.

Adults and kids can be and will be stupid, but then again adults with a complex of whatever are worse than stupid adults and kids.

Bots, fake/shill accounts, etc.

I wish the cancel culture would go after them and then dox/out those doing it publicly.

My belief in having a right to privacy diminished due to such rampant idiocy online especially in social media.

If CF have a new mandate where our real names are to be used (not that such would ever occur), I envision a drastic turnaround in behaviors and postings.

For transparency, my handle includes my real first name and I believe most know who I am based on reputation (i.e., I'm viewed as an ******* by CF staff and many members).

I actually logged into Facebook, which I never use, just to check out the poll. I quickly logged off.

I have to say that it is a great way of spreading the word on the new company.

I will admit that this whole thing has got me to really think about my collection and the direction that I need or should take with it. I am considering another major sell-off of figures and just trimming down to the ones that I really enjoy the most. That would help to finance these upcoming pricey figures but I just can't bring myself to pay so much for a doll, no matter how cool it looks. I realized some time ago that my 1/6 days were counted. I just didn't expect for it to be coming up so soon.

So visit that group to check the poll and then have the realization to sell off/trim down one's collection.

Your post echoes views made by others.

Perhaps, it's time to embrace the fact our 1:6 days are numbered and it's counting down faster than previously due to changes within the 1:6 hobby in varying aspects.
