Didn't the latest Matrix flop? Hot Toys also teased Neo and Trinity but haven't announced anything so far, Queen has only teased Neo and I doubt they'll make Trinity any time soon, they're only doing Neo because it's Keanu and Keanu sells.

The lack of interest from QS in anything Aquaman makes me sad lol, I thought they could really improve that HT abomination with its hair and other issues and also make the other characters, but I feel like no one at QS or anywhere else really cares lol

The biggest problem with Aquaman is Momoa.
His acting isn't the best lol, but I like him in the role after watching the movie, especially since I never liked Aquaman before. :lol It made so much money in China I'm just shocked that none of these companies seem very interested, maybe they're waiting for the second one.

For me, he just deviates far too much from the original character. I like Momoa fine, he's likeable, but he's such an average Joe in presence and speech and mannerisms that he has no presence to me. Had Hemsworth not been Thor he would have made a great Aquaman.

I also don't like that they fashioned Aquaman into Momoa's everyday real-world look. Instead of fashioning an actor into the character, someone just liked Momoa's look and said "Hey, what if Aquaman looked like Momoa?"... and all the twinks at the table fainted with satisfaction.

Red Dead Redemption is now at #9, Horizon and Ghost of Tsushima are tied for #10.
Would QS/InArt making Horizon figures deter another company from definitely not making a character with a striking resemblance from a very similar post apocalyptic robot dinosaur game?

That's true, I guess his look is really his biggest contribution and it's nothing like the comic lol. And I never thought about Hemsworth! I like him and he probably could've pulled it off really easily lol

I think it's due to them wanting to make Aquaman "cool" because he was always kind of a joke, so obviously a suits interpretation of "cool" is a big dumb dude-brah jock type.

Hemsworth would have made the "joke" of Aquaman cool. He did it with Thor.

But whatever. The entirety of the Justice League could be recast to me and only fair better.

Lame, VTS Toys has already done both Red Dead and Ghost and both looked quite good.
To be fair those figures are going for crazy prices in the after market and I understand the people that only prefer licensed stuff wanting to see Queen doing them but voting for RDR is an absolute waste, not only have we had two unlicensed figures come out in the past of couple of years with more on the way but T2 will never give them the license, apparently Neca tried again last year and they were rejected as usual.

Mass Effect, Halo, Uncharted and other properties deserved more recognition in that poll.

Hell no.

I just thought the four main Aquaman characters as figures would look so cool and different as figures and I had hope since QS seems focused on DC stuff, I know someone made Orm but I prefer not to settle for third-party for any of them.:monkey2 Sorry for derailing the thread a bit lol, I should be patient and see what happens in the next year.:lurking

I'm surprised people didn't vote for Spider-Man PS4/5, y'know those games that HT have also made over a dozen figures for along with Arkham :lol.

Other than a 1/2 statue, you mean? That's hardly a lack of interest. ;)
You're right, my mistake! I should have said INART, someone at QS has to like Aquaman to make that statue lol, I hope that means there's a chance that the 1/6 team might make something from the movie someday (unless the real issue is WB preventing it).

Have they put up a poll for TV licenses yet? I cannot wait to spam it with comments for Columbo.

COLUMBO COLUMBO COLUMBO
Don't mean to be a nag, but there's something that's been buggin' me and I gotta ask. I know about your main competitor, what's their name, uh... Hot Toys? Yeah. Terrific figures, my wife loves their stuff, especially all those neat Star Wars pieces. But I just can't shake the thought that the 1/6 landscape could be a little more diverse, y'know? There's nothing I'd like more than to get out of your hair, but I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if I didn't ask you guys for a shot at a certain television detective.
