Oh man. It’s quite simple, they’ll focus on the relevant and big 21st century IPs. But in addition, if they have the licenses to bigger 20th century licenses, they’d potentially/maybe do those as well. Again, why wouldn’t they? Especially since it appears they’ll only do the big characters. It should be reassuring to the older collector that they have expressed interest in Reeve Superman. Why….? It’s classic. It’s an icon. There’s also the added element of doing things Viper seems to be interested in doing. If I can go out on a limb here, perhaps they simply don’t care for Keaton Batman and perhaps that’s why we haven’t seen any talk about doing that.

I don’t know if you’re aware, but you want to know what INART’s biggest wish is? NBA 1/6. They won’t since they have stated it’s expensive af, but that also tells me that there’s some level of personal interest in the selections they do on top of what obviously, sells, based on the market’s demand.

Idk why you’re over here trying to talk for them as if you know 100%. Obviously, they wouldn’t do Alien or Predator since they’re Disney owned, licenses they simply don’t have. Of which you’ve yet to acknowledge and you’re insisting on your own outlook which isn’t in line with how they’ve been operating and demonstrating so far.

InArt has a limited budget, as well as limited time at their appointed factories, which is why they’re having to use multiple at a time.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve had to change factories per batch on a couple of occasions explaining some of the QC issues varying as they have.

The problem is just about every release they’ve had I’ve seen more than one with issues, again, not saying their competitors are immune to QC issues, I don’t live on Mars.

The difference is InArt can’t afford the hit.

Imagine all of the ones we don’t see or hear about. For a new brand, that throws people off of them with a bad taste, they’re not established or produce enough to warrant any further connection if one chose to.

So they have to work in the confines of what will work for them and their annual revenue stream. I’m sure everyone at InArt is eager to tackle all of the U.S I.Ps they themselves are enthusiastic about that they’d have access to, the hurdle there is that they can’t afford to produce something that doesn’t sell phenomenally and then go through the lengthy production process on it.

The rumors are saying they cannot afford production at all, and pretty much everything they’ve released to date has been mainstream newer US blockbusters say for the exception of that VG character.

Be nice if they could speed things up. Gonna be at least 2026 before Joker or Superman get the companion figures InArt promised us two years ago. More likely 2027 and beyond.

You know, they did sell 10,000 copies of that video game character, which is way more than any of the US IP figures they have done, and many people are asking for a non-limited release of Black Myth characters, so I think those (they showed two prototypes at Wonder Festival Shanghai) will probably get fast tracked do to the demand for those characters.

Okay fellas, back to talking about figures!

Why isn’t Hot Toys making an Indiana Jones 2.0 and why hasn’t InArt obtained the license to make it either?

I feel like there isn’t anything good out there that isn’t third party or at least 10 years old which is very outdated in my opinion (especially with pleather jackets).

Do you all think we’ll get one from InArt or Hot Toys any time in the near future because I would absolutely love to have a Raiders Indy in my collection

Indiana Jones is a Disney property - there’s absolutely zero chance InArt could get it even if they wanted it. Hot Toys is basically a branch of Disney at this point.

Do I think Hot Toys will make a new Indy? I’d say the odds are better than they were a year ago. They did finally make a new Ford figure with that Endor Han, and the MCU and DC aren’t really reliable for them anymore. Indy would be a home run for them and they have to know it. As they dry up the well for Star Wars, if the 2025 MCU movies don’t bring the crowds and collectors back - I think Hot Toys might very well take a stab at a new Indy.

Well that sucks! I reckon InArt would have killed a new Indy figure but I’m sure Hot Toys would too.

Let’s just hope with all these 2.0s coming out that this is also on their list because I really don’t want to buy an outdated figure just to be satisfied
