But Nick can spew horse crap all day long and no one bats an eye.
All you, brotha. Unfortunately, no one else has the cojones to tell you off lol. Seems like most others enjoy simmering in the sh*t you spew. It’s like I said though, you’re a pillar in this CF community and you’ve got your followers. Good work.

This is a toy forum for adults, have you ever cracked a joke with anyone here? Perhaps joke more instead of just being a brand mascot. Most of us are guys here, guys like humor. What guys don’t like? Is people jumping to the aid every chance they get for a multi-million dollar company that doesn’t know them.
That’s not true….? They warrant criticism, but Nick is spreading misinformation about licenses they simply cannot do and talking for people in Asia as if knows what their true sentiments are though. Etc, etc.Anytime anyone says anything negative about InArt, you jump right into defend them. It's actually gotten so bad, you were about to become the first person on here that I muted in 8.5 years on these boards. You 100% shill for InArt, lol. This conversation started over a post about InArt's financial situation and business strategy and look at where we are.
Probably best if a mod just cleans this thread up. I was trying to stay out of it and even just pointed out that the inception of this conversation was something totally different, lol. Should have just muted the troublemakers. Can we just go back to talking about these figurines fellas. Getting a little annoying hearing adults argue and bicker with each other.
Funny thing is, we all have more in common with each other than we think so let’s just go back to talking about this hobby and the actual thread again
At least they're finally showing off some new stuff. On a side note. Can Hot Toys please drop the license for Alien and Predator so Inart can make it instead since they’re taking forever to give what us fans want ahaha I think I’m losing my mind for wanting an 87 Predator figure that’s accurate
Really hope that’s the case mate. Don’t get me wrong I love both brands but I’m just sick of waiting for them to do other stuff other than Iron Man, Spiderman and Captain America. At least they're finally showing off some new stuff.
Only one new MCU movie this year (and the MCU has really lost it's power lately), DC can't get out of it's own way, and when they finally get new Star Wars stuff people like (Andor, Jedi Survivor and Skeleton Crew) they don't have the license, or don't do anything with the license. And they can't really do much of Keanu anymore, who was like Howard's one other interest outside of the big three.
I suspect there will definitely be some different things coming from Hot Toys in 2025 as they'll need new things to keep people interested. Probably a good chance that you get some Predator or Alien stuff.
I don’t think you know the definition of ‘shill’.Nick isn't wrong that nostalgia isn't a thing nearly as much in Asia. My uncle has lived in Singapore since 1994. My brother in law was born in Vietnam. My best friend's cousin was stationed in Japan for years. A lot of fans in Asian countries have only picked up on these fandoms in recent years, that's why there's been a push for James Bond and John Wick and Batman to appear in Asian countries.
Star Wars really only caught on in Japan, most other Asian cultures are confused by it. But then again, most films do well in Japan, which is very into western culture. Even the Harry Potter movies are some of the top grossing movies there.
Japan aside, these franchises haven't really caught on as well. That's why most of these figures sell most of their numbers elsewhere. Superheroes are popular, probably because they're the closest things to Goku and whatever other anime characters are over there. But outside of superheroes and movies like Fast and Furious there really isn't a ton of nostalgia, so I don't know what the problem was with that statement.
And yes, you 100% shill for InArt.
I’m just saying I hope Hot toys drops the license so they can get it themselves. I think it would be great to see another company attempt the Alien and Predator franchise in 1/6 scale. I feel like Hot Toys are still playing games when it comes to making these new figures sometimes for example the Romulus Alien looks to still have deteriorating rubber for the jaws which sucks in my opinionbut I’m tired of the pointless bickering too. I’m simply not a fan of misinformation. Saying that INART won’t do Alien because they don’t want to isn’t correct assessment. It’s because they simply don’t have the licenses lol
