Well, they should really make a public statement in regards to the line. If they indeed want to finish the Fellowship but it depends on the sales let the collectors know this. Collectors speak with their wallets. If they want the Fellowship then get on board. People are more inclined to sit it out if there's no chance at all.

Fat chance. It’s a lose-lose situation if they had come out with a public statement like that.

It was always obvious they want(ed) to complete the Fellowship.

I agree, I've gotten some flack for just reposting information from a Chinese collector and some Chinese collectors are not happy with InArt's replies to some of these questions either. Across the board it seems like InArt isn't interested in completing lines, LoTR fans are unhappy, Justice League fans are unhappy, Matrix fans are unhappy. All of this from a Q&A not even held with the general public. If InArt is able to freely communicate like this, they need to take full advantage of it and let people know what's going on in their own social media, instead of holding all these events where they reveal new information but then it's the people who attended the event that have to pass along said information.

If they're doing Gandalf the White I think most collectors would be happy with the remaining Fellowship at the end of the films. Aragorn, Legolas, Frodo, Sam, Gimli, Merry and Pippin.

Frodo and Sam are the heart of the story in my opinion so I think it's great that they're doing them, I think the casual collector will probably be happy with those two alongside Gandalf or Aragorn. As far as the rest, especially Merry and Pippin, I think we have to be realistic and take into account these would not sell all that well, especially if you don't already have EVERY LoTR figure they've done to complete the Fellowship.

At the end of the day InArt has to prioritize what will bring in the money, will it be Merry and Pippin or another Ledger Joker? We all know the answer to that.

Makes me wonder if they are done with Fellowship and moving onto say The Two Towers and Return of the King. Which would explain the GTW comment. And Gimli, Merry and Pippin could be based on the later looks.
Boromir would be the odd one out.

Either way If InArt does can the line I'll have to rebuy Gimli, purchase JNDs Hobbit Set and then commission a better Boromir sculpt and get it haired.

It would stop all the speculation and clear the air so collectors can make informed purchasing decisions. If InArt was actually going to do the full Fellowship I wouldn't give JND the time of day, I'll stick with InArt, but since they apparently don't want to for financial reasons my money goes to their competition.

Not everything needs to have a full blown “line”. Fellowship, yes, they should be 9/9. But expecting more Justice League characters when they’re making BvS Trinity? You’d need JL or ZSJL Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman AGAIN. And things like The Matrix can be represented with Neo on his own.

The OP from the original Chinese thread said GtW could still be made, but that was about it, no confirmation that it was coming. I'm just being a bit hopeful for the sake of people that want them to continue making LoTR figures.

It did come from InArt, the person who was at the event and created the thread to post all their answers simply said it may yet come in the future, which is what we assume InArt said. It doesn't really tell people anything and it's why I don't understand why InArt is so happy-go-lucky answering so many questions to strangers who can then only tell us what they heard at said event, instead of actually informing people on what their plans are through their socials.

It’s been confirmed they won’t make Matrix 4 Neo anymore, per John with INART during the prior WillFoxification YT live-streams. John said they’d most likely do Neo based on the trilogy, most likely Matrix 1, but no hard confirmation.

In other words, expect either Matrix 1 Neo or the Matrix 2/3 version.

I don’t see a problem with it myself, it’s kinda like any presser that isn’t made public outright. Happens in various industries. They’d be setting themselves up for more disaster if they promise things on their official pages and when let’s say they don’t do a certain figure, the consumers would eat them alive.

Meaning they probably had a longer response to some of these questions, but the OP abbreviated them for the sake of people reading the post.

The thing is those press junkets and events usually invite several journalists and media influencers to talk about them online through easy and accessible means, sort of like when you see a ton of influencers and journalists who were invited to play a demo slice of an upcoming game come out with tons of info about said demo, without showing any footage.

With InArt you need to rely on someone at the event to note all of the new info down and then post it on discussion forums. Hardly convenient and as we can see, it's doing more harm than good at the moment. InArt is obviously comfortable sharing all this information with people they know will very likely share it online, so why not just share it themselves or bring along some influencers to share it with the world?

On a positive note, the Chani update is very welcome, especially after how well Paul turned out. Jessica is a surprise, and I would be even more surprised to see that one go beyond a prototype -- though I agree with the sentiment that I hope it's not another Stillsuit, as Paul and Chani will already have that well-covered.
