As much as it would suck losing my NRD for Hot Toys, I'll be glad to switch to that.

Just keep the Hot Toys version preordered until it's inevitably delayed. No loss on the NRD

I think the Prime 1 statue edges this out. I'm also not a fan of the car as the base, they should've just used "design elements" like they did with the Bale Batman. The likeness is pretty good but I also think Prime 1 did a little better with that, too.

ABOUT THE CHARACTER

ABOUT THE STATUE
Like our Dark Knight series, we have attempted to recreate the same degree of realism for this 1/3 Batman statue. This 1/3 Batman statue has two realistic Batman head sculpts which masterfully capture Robert Pattinson's likeness. The first has the bat wearing his iconic cowl, while the other is an unmasked head sculpt featuring life-like hair made of
fine sheeps wool to bring the character to life.

ABOUT THE BASE
The base of this statue is inspired by the Batmobile for the The Baman (2022). The Caped Crusader stands heroically with his front foot resting on the rear of the vehicle. The base itself includes internal lighting which helps to create a dark ominous feel when on display, perfectly capturing the tone of Pattinson's Batman.

That base is downright stupid. As in what the actual ****. Still, not a yuuuge dealbreaker as that Pattinson HS. It is not him. That's a stunt double.

Queen may tweak the likeness though, they've done that before,

Suit looks incredible, likeness needs work but Queen Studios confirmed they are tweaking the likeness. It looks very realistic though.

The base is trash and needs to go. Queen are aware of the complaints, so hopefully they change it. Would look better with the bat signal instead.

Queen always say they'll tweak things but I wouldn't expect a massive change. Honestly I think both sculpts look good, just not up to p1.

Yeah, this company really reads comments and the base has been an overwhelming no-no from most, if not all, people commenting. I have good reason to believe they will scratch that idea and definitely get that Pattinson HS on point.


Can't say that about Blitzway though That Joker was disappointing as hell.

That batsuit and cowl look absolutely incredible, and are so much better than the P1 version. Unfortunately the pose and base really let it down and I'm not seeing much Pattinson even in the masked sculpt.

Agreed on all counts.

This character does not fit with the classic Captain Morgan pose, very lazy for them to go that route. And the base just makes the whole thing ridiculous. The "story" behind the statue seems to be that someone was trying to crash an R/C car into him and he angrily stopped it with his foot at the last second. What were they thinking.

Likeness is way too idealized.

This is the money shot for me. I do love the Heroic pose. I do think this is better than P1, and I dont really need the Wayne sculpt, so I would be happy with just the Batman. And $1138 for a 1/3, I think I'm gonna bite and PO this.

I think that price is a steal considering JND will be beyond $2k, P1 I believe is most likely around $1600 and with shipping will be also in the ballpark of $2k.
I do love the Base on the P1 and its a better Pattinson/Wayne sculpt.
But honestly, I probably would never display it without the cowl, so I think I'm gonna have to get Queen's.

I do like this statue more than P1. But the base is lazy design. It need to redesign just use some parts or elements not the whole Batmobile.

The base is stupid and the unmasked sculpt is not all that great. Hard to beat K.A. Kim. I agree the suit looks great though. I prefer the Prime 1 piece and if I get a Pattison bats I will most likely go with them, unless JND hits a home run.

The reaction to the base is overwhelmingly negative, I'm sure they will re-think this whole standing on a big Rc batmobile thing. I'm sure they will tweak the HS as well. The pose, the suit, hell, everything else is seriously awesome.

Kinda a newbie on these big statue pieces, do they sell out real quick?
Or its ok to wait a little bit before I pre-order.
I know JND sells out like hot cakes, but does Queen Studios as well?

I kinda really want to see what their 1/6 figure would like like at first before I preorder this, in case I feel like I would be satisfied with that.
But I also dont want to miss out on this.
