Are you considering making Galadhrim archers to go with Haldir? I would imagine that might help boost sales, and you can likely reuse many parts which might help profits in the long run. It did seem like your Last Alliance soldiers sold pretty well, so something to consider.

I just hope that the releases of Gollum, Boromir and the legendary Gandalf upgrade heads, and Thranduil crown don't come out all at once or we won't have enough kidneys to sell to pay for all that. We just paid Gandalf the white just before Christmas...

I hope Gollum, Boromir, and Thranduil rather soon. Honestly, collectors should always have extra money aside for unexpected releases (I really need to work on that as I am almost near zero myself).

Release dates are supposed to be:
Gollum - September (delayed)
Gandalf - November
Boromir 2.0 - December
Thranduil - 2023 January

We should better have 1000 USD ready for these

Oh YES, I would also love Thranduil on his Irish Elk - hell in an ideal world you would have robed Thranduil on his throne and armoured Thranduil on his Irish Elk. With slim options available for those who are not into the throne or Elk or can only afford one of the "deluxe" options and not both.... I would buy both.....

For me Thranduil was one of the real highlights of the Hobbit trilogy alongside Smaug - his design aesthetic is also, in my humble opinion, one of the best in the entire Jackson Middle Earth saga.

I really only want the figure tbh, but if it was a straight choice I think I’d rather have the elk (if he does have to come with a big major accessory), especially if it was the same cost as GTW was. I could probably (just about) accommodate that space-wise over a throne. The cost of Crown Thranduil with a throne just terrifies me!

If there is throne in the pipeline, hopefully there will be just a slim figure release and a separate ‘deluxe‘ release with a throne that way we can all be happy!

The tricky part is ... if it's an Elk release, then he'd have to be the armored version of Thranduil. But a Throne release would need to be paired with a robed and crowned Thranduil.

Trouble is, I want a robed version, but don't have room for the throne. I would, however, also love the elk to go with the Thranduil 1.0 that I've got.

Ideally they could do both sets - or offer both versions of the figures as slims and both accessories individually - but I can't imagine them sinking that many resources into a relatively minor character.

Message them on FB if you have it. Can’t say i’ve ever had a problem getting a response from their customer service.

Just in case there is any doubt, I would gladly take the lot.
However I think you are right to a point about how much they would push the boat out on these Thranduil release options. He is a very popular character and they just might be tempted to go for it big time with the accessories.
Anyway that is my hope. What can I say - I'm a dreamer!

I would buy Asmus Willow in a heartbeat if they make any. At least from the original movie. I still have those figures from when I was a little kid.
