I think they are. Maybe they were taken back by the constant pessimistic criticism

That's too bad.

Asmus owes us nothing. Bugging them to give information is a sure way to drive them away.

Truly hope that's not the case.

But this seems to be the way with the world: the smallest minority with the loudest whiners wins.

Dear Asmus, is there any Gandalf the White sculpt in progress pics?
You mentioned it will be done by different sculptor. Was he producing something from you already?

So, if the dwarf fans finally get some love so you think there is a chance of getting a War-pig mount? That would an aces look for the collection. ;)

Just keep going the way you have been going and he will be great. For the most part each figure has been better than the last and you guys have been doing the little things like adding the extra pegs and making sturdier bodies that mean a lot at least to me. It is not as noticeable as the head sculpt but it adds to the overall quality and attention to collectors in my opinion. Maybe you could look into the possibility of stands for the hobbits that fit in with the rest. Merry and Pippin are so sturdy they don't need the stands but it is nice to be able to have that uniform look as a display option.

Edition sizes for Aragorn and Saruman...?
Saruman is numbered on the insert under the box top - Your #/1500. I'm guessing Aragorn is the same though I do not own one.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that on Saruman. Thanks.

But Aragorn doesn't have that on his insert, so still curious about that one if anyone knows or if George will tell us.

For those of us who are on the bubble about ordering Merry & Pippin because of their heads, is there any update on whether or not alternate heads for them are being developed?

Merry and Pippin really is a tough choice for me. I feel like I'm gonna wind up with the rest of the Fellowship, so I might as well, but I'm not crazy about the head sculpt, particularly Merry. It's a good sculpt and I think I can remember Merry making a similar facial expression, but it's just not how I would represent Merry.

I think Pippin is fine, too. I don't need Merry to be smiley, but something a little more neutral, at least, the first time around would have been much better for my taste.
