I am... I am skiping this one for sure now... not like I wanted him anyway. NO MORE JEDI.

Augh. A little disappointed. Didn't like the look too much in the movie. Oh well, maybe his accessory will be a palm sized Amidala's ship?

I'm still hoping for a hole in his torso for Maul to stick his lightsaber in.

Why are you guys disappointed? I think it's pretty cool. I really think he is an important character that kind of got the shaft in the prequels. But I also agree SS could take a break from the Jedi, now bring on the HOTR or the Empire.

This 'hole in the chest' thing has really caught on.

Yes, its too bad they didn't go for it. But making your own "hole in the chest" is easy enough to do. If you dare...

For me, I was hoping the poncho would be the exclusive. Now having the exclusive means something.

that's something you coule easily do yourself with a drill.

you could even position the cloth on the figure where the hole would not show if you didn't want it to.

This certainly falls into the "pretty cool but not a heartbreaker" exclusive category. It is cool, but I likely won't have him displayed in the poncho, so if I miss it I won't pout too much.

That being said, I hope I don't miss it.

Sideshow has done a pretty good job of adding extra items that won't be a dealbreaker if someone misses the exclusive (mynock excepted imo)

I respectfully disagree...

Dude, that picture is great but that moment in the film just happens too darn fast. Nothing is built up...there is no climax to the fight...its almost like it was just plugged in to have some good press material.

I agree that it was over too short.

People like to go on about how TPM could have been better pointing to what they argue is a silver bullet, but I think what it really needed was to go through audience screenings for feedback. They would have told him (among other things) to beef up this fight.

Don't get me wrong, that scene is awesome, and I love how he forces Anakin to the ground, but I think that this accessory is one that will sit by the figure for me, rather than on it, much like Spike's hawaiian shirt.

The poncho is kewl, if you don't like it then don't clog the server tomorrow when he goes up.

I guess it's an okay Exclusive, he did wear that stupid thing through 2/3 of the film, but not WOWED at all. I always thought the Luke Exclusive should have been the Endor Poncho but maybe they're saving that for SDCC.

Depending on the Excl. Edition Size (assuming 1750) this may take a little longer to sell out than Obi-Wan (3 hrs or so). We'll see, the value is definitely in the sculpt though and if they use a "taller" body that would be cool.

I think the exclusive items should be things the figure can hold in their hands or use. But not clothing...that should be standard.

There is definitely a cool movie within TPM -- maybe 45 mins to an hour worth. A fan-made version would have been much better. And yes, if Lucas took another day on that fight maybe it would have been great -- it looks awesome from the pictures and I remeber how excited I was by the Vanity Fair pix of Obi-Wan and Maul squaring off in the desert. Of course, that never happened as it was just a publicity shot. That was one of the many aggravations for me when I first saw the film. I was like 'Hey, when does Obi-Wan get into this -- what, its over?". That was a bad cheat in my book.

I dig the accessary a lot. Almost falls into 'should have come with the figure in the first place' catagory since he wears it for much of his screen time in TPM.

I will display him with the poncho more than I will display Kit with the Battledroid head.

I agree about clothing being standard. You don't send your military out without the proper body armor and you don't... wait, bad example. But the point is still valid.

I like the exclusives that were something else altogether: the paper weight Droid head. The refridgerator magnet Mynock. Something like a key chain or something that isn't clothing or an accessory.

Desire had nothing to do with OB1's sellout time, servers did (as the same with Luke and Anakin)

I see Qui-Gon going in under 45 minutes.
