im still gonna pick up the exclusive. the poncho is good enough for me. as long as the overall deal rocks thats all that matters.

I'm not disappointed as the poncho was what I expected the exclusive to be. Does it make me any more enthusiastic about ordering the figure? No it doesn't. Starting the line off with Jedi was OK but it's definitely time for a change,and I think a couple more OT characters should be done before any other PT figures are made. The only other Jedi I would buy at this point would be Yoda and ANH Obi-Wan,both of which are highly unlikely to happen for some time.

I'm happy with the poncho, but there's no real "wow" factor to it. It's certainly no droid head. It does look like he comes with a midichlorian counter, too.

I'll be getting it. I still think it is too important for the exclusive though. The color seem off to me. It should more of a tan. Perhaps sand was the cause of that?

It's cool. I don't know how much I'll have QG wearing it but at least I'll have it to deside.

I like it.... Exactly what I expected. The poncho gives a bit of choice to the situation when it comes to display... Once we get Maul you can stage the Maul and Qui Gon fight or remove poncho and Maul's robe... add Obi Wan... and you have the Obi/Qui/maul throwdown!

It's not an exiting item by any means, but so what? What else could they have done? they won't do the lightsaber hole... too evil... won't give you a Little Anni figure... that's just crazy...

It's more than disappointing. Those who miss out on this exclusive will feel like they have a much lesser version of the figure itself, which is just WRONG and should not be what an exclusive item is all about. They got it right with all the previous ones (Hologram, Droid Head, Blasters, Mynock, Jango Helmet, etc). They were all cool-to-have, but not integral or musts to display the characters. This one is MUCH different. It is so integral to the character that for SSC to produce it but not include it with ALL of the versions is more than shortsighted.

Shame on you SSC! People aren't as up in arms now, but boy are you gonna hear it when collectors miss out on THIS particular exclusive.

WORST EXCLUSIVE YET. Not because the item isn't cool (it is), but because EVERY one of these figures should come with it standard.

I'm pissed... and I may yet be able to order the exclusive tomorrow. But if I miss out I'll be downright irate

BTW, I'm not disappointed at all. Seems there were a number of people complaining that all the Jedis were going to look the same in their Jedi robes, and now we have the potential for something different with this exclusive. Where's the love?

I really like the poncho. The only thing bad about it is that I will be sooooo upset if I can't get it. I would display him with the poncho and he just won't look as cool without it. I dread tomorrow. I am not really sure if I want him without it. It sounds silly I know but I really want him with the poncho. Good luck to us all....we will need it.

Well the poncho is something Quigon used while the head Kit comes with is pretty useless.

Poncho and Jon. They could always finish the effects and footage of Maul jumping up to the plank after Qui-Gonner. It may only be a few more seconds, but would be damn sweet to see Maul get busted in the chops, fall into that crouch landing, then slowly rise instead of the quick cut thats in the movie.

I take it you didn't order the exclusive Kit or Mace figures. I don't think any of the exclusives, so far, have really been necessary. I just think they're a nice extra to have. Personally I prefer something like a droid head or Jango's helmet or a mynock because they have more of a "wow" factor like I said. The poncho, which I like, doesn't pack the same punch.

See, I don't think it really adds all that much. Actually, I'll display him in his Jedi Robes though I will switch it out from time 2 time. The Jedi always look much cooler in their robes than say a Pancho or something like that.

Batty, I agree that the poncho, while cool, and way nicer than the Hasbro offering, seems to pack less oomph when compared to the mynock and jango's helmet.

I never really know what to do with some of the extra accessories for some figures anyway. How many knives can one Jason figure hold, or how best to display extra Luke hands? Guess I'll find it in about ten days!

I am not to worried about getting it. Don't get me wrong tomorrow I'll be on edge waiting for the site to switch over and load the order screen. I take work off when the exclusives are offered, awww the joys of self-employment!

Yea, I have all the exclusives so far cause might as well. Off all of the exclusives so far, the droid head is the one that packed less oomph for me cause it really has nothing to do with Kit, (same could be said for Mace).

I think since everyone expected the poncho, that may be the letdown.

Happy with the exclusive....dont think it has the "wow" factor,but I think it will serve a more practical purpose that some of the previous exc's.,I like the fact that he can wear his exc......like Anakins exc. was pretty useless....Qui-Gon's can be put use use if you would like to see him in his Tattooine look
