Vader was 6500 I do believe. I'm also pretty sure there was more than 500 for NA.

Well Sideshow's site say's 6000 for the ES, and I'm pretty sure it was either 500 or 750, it deffinately didn't break 1000 cuz it was highly competitive. Either way, best of luck to fellow non-attendees on preorder day, and just hit the Wait List quick if you miss out.

Was it 6k? Either way I'm pretty sure that those not going got one if they wanted one. I don't remember there being that much of a ruckuss on this one.

That's right it was SDCC Vader/Anakin that did that. I forget some of this stuff with the fact I can go to that convention.

It was an odd day for sure, and clearly Toy Fair pre-ordering showed they learned from it, I had logged on to try and order Vader and there was like no page at all if I remember right, I thought holy cow I'll never get one, but I kept trying and got in finally, I think some that missed out at first gave up when they saw how bad connecting was.

Well, the bad part about this figure is they're only doing 1k in the US. That will make it hard just because of that amount alone.

I know, it's gonna suck! BUT I will fight tooth and nail! Also I'm hoping some people skip it due to Boba Fett shipping not too far off from this and having to make the choice between the 2.

Yeah, I'm a little worried but I'm pretty darn sure I'll get one.

guess again, the ROTS helmet is wrong,they just used the same molds as the ROTJ one, great for the ROTJ lovely rendition, but significantly inaccurate for ROTS

I guess you are correct but I do not know all the differences between the RoTJ and RoTS except one being symetrical and all black and one being asymetrical and two toned. But again, the Medicom RoTJ Vader was not asymetical either. When comparing the obvious differences such as a black brow over a white helm on the troopers helmet and the differences on the Vader, it seemed to me not enough to mention in a 1:6 scale format. Hell, if you want to be that "accurate", since all the helmets in Star Wars were hand sculpted and asymetrical, no reproduced replicas are even accurate that I know of except for garage kits.

size,as mentioned the symetry,the dome shape and size,the neck area on ROTS is longer and sits under the upper armor as oposed to on top a' la ROTJ,lense proportions,chin grill is flush as oposed to recessed on the jedi bucket...

Well I just hope I along with everyone else here will be able to get one. I will have two computers running and the phone number dialed up just in case.

I think the biggest problem will be Luke.

I wouldnt be heartbroke if I missed the Sandie but I would be if I missed Luke or the dio.

Just got the notice. That's really sweet!!! Might have to preorder this one. I can always decide later if I really want it. It'll be a sore thumb next my SS figs, but as a stand alone I think he's an amzing peice. Too bad he can't find the droids he's looking for.
