looks like he's a "slacker" stormtrooper...the way his helmet looks is like a military soldier having his cap tipped back. no wonder this trooper was on tantooine.

My only disappointment is that the figure is sporting the ROTJ helmet instead of the ANH helmet, but other than that (which is a pretty minor thing for me) this figure is super sweet! I'm going to have to hit the PPO right away.

He'll look nice alongside my RAH Fett.

This anniversary thing is getting pricey.

Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference between the two helmets and I've seen the movies a number of times.

The ANH helmet would have been better but I'll just get the Koto figure and use the helmet from that or one of the GG/Tomy mini helmets if they are the right scale. It's good to see the figure will be weathered as after previous Medicom troops I was fully expecting a squeaky clean version. After 2 piss poor figures revealed from SSC it's nice to see there's at least 1 ANH figure coming out this year that's of genuinely high quality.

Nice Sandtroopers in the above pics. I am going to try to preorder this. If I can't get it I guess it is the waitlist for me. I got two of the Boba Fetts so maybe my luck will hold out.

EDIT: I'm missing the german WWII MP40 ammo pouches though... it's one little detail that is definitely needed!

I imagine they'll have more than that for those of us not going.

I'm hoping Medi makes a white or black pauldron version as a general release figure in the line so I'd just get that.

Failing that BBTS might end up getting some, that's where I got my Blackhole Stormie from, so there's a chance.

I know what you mean though, Medi's surge a great releases is forcing me to choose which ones I want when I want them all. I would've bought all 3 SM3 figures if not for these releases, but one things for sure the Marvel comic line is on a serious backburner now.

April-Spidey.
May-June -Fett and Sand (give or take)
then Magneto (but I'll no doubt drop him and look for one later, won't be a hard pick up)
Than a few good months to wait for Jango. So I figure in those few months I'll scoop up BH Trooper, some VCD's etc. And whatever the SDCC exclusive will be.

Works out pretty nice, I figure I can round it all up though. Just gotta be strategic.
