I thought April, maybe May. If May than they totally have to wait, Fett and Sandtrooper take Priority. That's a deadly 2 months for my credit card, May and June.

It would be freaking insane for all of us. I think half and half is about right for all 3 of these.

I want all the CIV exclusives but Im in freaking NC and cant go to California.

the idea of 100 is, this will probably be limited to 1,000 (like most SW medis in the states) and the non-attendee usual is 10% sooooooo 100. BUT I bet its more.

There is alot more differences than a curve in the brim. Sandtroopers and are as different to Stormtroopers as a Scout Trooper IMO. Here is a list of differences:

E-11 Repeating Blaster
Different shoulder straps (no ribs)
Different helmet markings (no lines)
Sniper Knee Diamond
Different mid armor box (square midsection and no colors)
No Canister in back
Different drop boxes
Magazine pouches
pauldron

If Medicom is to be praised for their "attention to detail", then lets make that detail "accurate". Is it alot to ask that the correct helmet is used for this figure? I think Medicom correctly made the differences between the RoTJ and RoTS Vaders. Why are they ignoring the "screen accurate" trooper?

I think cause its an exclusive that it was just slammed together. Besides, maybe not 100% screen accurate, you still wanna say it's NOT detailed? Kind of like SS Anakin just getting a quick eye spray as an exclusive, I think Medi just decided to go with an existing sculpt w/tweaks for an exclusive.

I understand your thinking but as a consumer, I want more for my money. Also, consider the two Vaders. Medicom actually changed items much harder to distinquished to be more screen acurate. If there was a figure that required no costume adjustments, it was Vader.

As for throwing an exclusive together, Medicom did a new ab plate that is screen accurate.

I'm not so sure, the DLT-19 is covering quite a bit of the plate, those circles could still be there, maybe just uncolored and weathered, plus there's also the "sniper" shin guard to model as well we're not seeing. Though they have omitted those little boxes that hang from the "belt". I guess we'll have to wait 'till Thursday, I think, for more pics.

guess again, the ROTS helmet is wrong, they just used the same molds as the ROTJ one, great for the ROTJ lovely rendition, but significantly inaccurate for ROTS

I'm a consumer and I think I'm fully getting my moneys worth, it's an exclusive for a convention. If this were a regular release, where they had all the time they wanted to put it together, I'd trust it would have the full detail, but it's not. They were asked to do something in a smaller amount of time than usual for a convention outside of their regular line. Buuuuuuuut if you don't feel you're not getting your moneys worth, you're leaving an extra one for me!!! So thanks!!!:D

Is there really only going to be 100 of these for non attendees like yakface is reporting
Actually, it's 10% of what ever was allotted for the US market (presumably 1000), PLUS what's left after the attendees took their share. That should be accurate.

There is a difference between DETAIL, and ACCURACY, you know. It seems that Medicom figures are very detailed, but perhaps not always very accurate.

At least in this and ROTS Vaders cases. The rest seem pretty accurate.

It can be more than 10% though that's allotted to NA when they order.

Ok so they at least allote 10%. I would hope they would do more with Star Wars. I really want to get all these exclusives.

From SS Site:

Usually 10% of each edition size is set aside for pre-order to Non-Attendees; however, that percentage may change depending on the edition size and category of each item.
