Thanks for that Robbie. Is there another tutorial for the neck ?. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it on. I remember for the dude I used a string that was supplied but it's not with this and I'm assuming there's a different way it should be done.

I can't get this body together. The bottom part where the spring is , on my hot toys body the spring simply isn't long enough to press against the inside of the body, it's wobbling all over the place. :lol :gah:

I'll figure this out but not tonight, it's driving me up the wall.

What does this part mean ?.

Am I meant to add something to the spring ?. " Whatever you have to put in ".
My spring isn't touching the body so when put together there is no resistance and the body is 360 spinning. :lol

I think it means that when you push the back in the upper part will hold it. Dont know, i will be doing for first time to. But i think thats what it means.

Looks like you have to put a small piece of plastic in there to get the resistance?

That's exactly what I thought but it's as if the spring isn't springy to actually garner resistance and surely just leaving something sat between it and the body isn't right , what's to stop it from just popping out ?.

If that's the right way about it something should have been supplied to go between the gap.

I think when you rotate the body from back to front the spring will expand... Only if it does not you can put something small. The spring will push it up.
I haven't done it but thats just my guess...

Wow, just looking at this I can't help to think of all the ttm21 bodies Rainman and Co worked on removing chestplates and replacing it with this custom one :horror.

He earned every red cent of the purchase price for this release :clap

THe piece of plastic is already under the spring. Normally you don't need to add anything.

That's what I was thinking also but how do you manage to get the thick frame of the body under that thin plastic holder of sorts ?.
Once on side of the body is in also sliding the other side in to the front piece and that little piece of plastic is insane.

Like i said i think the spring expands and pushes it up... My guess....

I think we're talking about different plastic parts. The spring doesn't expand. There is another small plastic piece under the spring I'm assuming the body has to slide under so the frame is under the spring , the problem for me is that the plastic edges on the body are much thicker than the plastic it has to slide under.

I'm giving up for now anyway. Knackered me out :monkey1 , I don't know how you do this on a day to day basis Seb. :lol

Aha that... Yeah that could be a b**** i thought the image says there are two small flatted areas on the chest piece which will slide under it. But u may be right, i have nothing in my hand right now so can't say.

Cool. I havent got chest piece yet, and I havent opened the TTM21 so was just taking a guess. Im glad we wont have to add anything then.

Yup. Mine too. The spring should provide tension to keep it from coming apart.

No idea then mate. If you still havent figured it out by the time I get mine, I'll make a tutorial.

Thanks, I'm assuming there's a way to lift up that plastic piece at the bottom since it does spring up but from the bottom. This is ridiculously hard to explain. I swear I'm never buying a clothing set again. :rotfl

It took me a while but wasn't too difficult. What I did:
-Undo the chest and completely remove the remaining HT torso pieces. This will leave you with the legs, groin, and pin with spring and depressor plate held in with a small Phillips screw.
-Loosen the screw holding the spring. This will relieve tension from the spring.
-Wedge the depressor plate up with a screwdriver. Slip in one half of the torso. I used the back half. You'll need to slide it in at an angle, as the design of the interior torso and the loosened spring will block it from sliding it in all the way.
-Carefully tighten the screw, putting tension back on the spring. Make sure to hold the torso piece in place - often adding tension will knock it loose. If the depressor plate gets out of sorts and is facing the wrong way, move it back into place with the screwdriver. Tighten it all the way to it's original position. This took me a couple times, as the screw was difficult to get at and it was tough to keep the torso half in place.
-Wedge the depressor plate back up and slip the other half of the torso on. Make sure to have the arms and neck peg already set in!
-Snap everything together and reset the screws in the back.

I can take pictures tonight if people are still having trouble.

Thanks for that, it's much appreciated.
So to loosen the screw holding the spring you'd have to disassemble the err... arse right ?. Because the screw is under there ?.
Then it's holding the legs together , pushing the body together and trying to screw it back in. :horror:lol

This is hilarious. :rotfl
