Received my unpainted Driver H+C set 5 days ago. Aside from a small paint mark on the snub nose handle, everything is fantastic. Still deciding on a painter.

Thanks, for some reason there's no UK postage. That's why I can't see them, hopefully I'll be able to pick some up elsewhere. If anyone sees them and can give me a shout it would be much appreciated.

Someone asked for a comparison of the Rainman and Aeon painted heads, so here they are:

I can't believe he just dremeled those holes after it was painted. . .

Aside from those 2 very noticeable white holes..,Rainmans paint is way better than Aeons on this one. Those eyes are huge!

I think the Aeon paint looks applied to thick, the Rainman paint is applied better but it has to much of a soft dolllike appearance.

Anybody selling unpainted soldier sculpt let me know.

I really prefer the Aeon paint on my heads, except for the huge eyes, they would be perfect. My RM driver has the pink blush all the way onto the ears, a little disturbing.

Still not digging the Aeon eyes...darn...but overall happy with my sets...need to figure out what to do with the shades now that everyone has snagged what is remaining on ebay....

Mandarin was just released. It will be a lot easier to find parts over the next few months.

Like yoda and kara I had the luck of getting a Driver sculpt with the noticeable white resin holes. From the DX set also. Even more lucky one of the brown gun slings had the top part stitched in backwards!
Waiting to hear back from RM to see what can be done

I got a message from Rainman and this is what he said.

''Hello Arron.
I shouldn't make the hole for full set driver.
but people wanted me make the hole.
so i made some process and i will refund by point money at artwork.
Culd you explain well about this for me?''

So it looks like a number of people asked for the holes in the driver sculpt. Further to that it looks like some of you will be receiving some sort of refund.

Here is a picture he sent me for anybody that is not happy with the holes on their driver sculpt.

I got that tutorial, as well. Problem is, even if we do that, I doubt the black color will perfectly match the paint on the sculpt, and then there is a very small are of the skin that looks like it was affected by the drilling, which is a whole other can of worms. And the holes aren't the problem--I've seen plenty that are painted and look great--it's that they were drilled after the paint was applied. But oh, well.
