Nice pics Marty & AJK This pair is beyond fun!
Still didn't put together the second body but gave everything a more thorough inspection yesterday & today. Holy cow man. This set is insane and wild for it. The Soldier sculpt with Rainman's paint in hand is unbelievable. Very strong likeness and the best realism of all the versions. IMO this has bumped Dude & Doc down a notch in his hierarchy of greats. This sits at the top of the totem with Bill & Anton. The clothes are of course top tier pieces but these jeans could easily have come from Kato. The wash, stitching and fit are carbon copy pages right out of his book.
I'm nuts about these guns. They are not models that are easily found on the market thus pretty difficult to bash with this level of accuracy. The arm sling is on a totally other level.
My main nits: WATP pin could have been attached in a less permanent way; he showed the rubber guards on the arms of the shades in the protos, but the revised glasses didn't have them; King Kong & winged patches are inaccurate; the M65 could have been slightly bigger for that oversized look; my main one... he gave us the knife in an irremovable sheath (sculpted sheath instead of blade)
Excuse the crappy quick pics; just wanted to show that the T-1000 hands work pretty well for this guy for various things and the skin tone is a decent match too
