Paj, I'll call you tonight! This is perfect. We can try out the whole CRM outfit. It will be much bigger than what Rainman's perfect tailoring will be, but I want to get an idea of what it will look like all put together and give an assessment of how some of the pieces of clothing should look - like the baggy fit of the jacket on the BL Body etc.

I shipped rainman his book the other day. Poor Rainman, stupid USPS charges 80 for expedited shipping, more than the book itself.
I hate USPS. I hate them, seriously I wish the US postal service would go bankrupt they are antiquated, horrible service, fighting to drop sat shipping, lose packages left right and center. virtually nothing is trackable outside of US unless you pay some obscene price.
Anyways I offered to chip in a little for the shipping. Least I could do for what he did of replacing the misplaced photo contest outfit set for me. Afterall he had no obligation to do that for me, I wasn't a paying customer for that set, it was a gift. I'm sure he's not going to like this, we looked for a place to ship the book to Korea but Taschen will not. Oh well I'm sure it will make the figure that much more awesome.

Why ship it USPS?
Do UPS or DHL next time. You can track the package that way too.

IDK about DHL but it's expensive to ship internationally from the US any way you do it. I had to send RM my Dancing Jesus statue (it broke) and Alex's shirt (he was replacing it). I priced it out at both USPS & UPS and they both were crazily priced. I wasn't looking to go First Class with USPS; that with a tracking number would've only been like $25 but it would take 3-5 weeks.
Any type of expedited shipping (2-10 business days) was in the $70-$100 range (from either agency) for this little package that weighed about a pound! I went with UPS and it ran me $80+ because he guy gave me a business discount (but wasn't supposed to). It's just expensive to ship overseas from here if you want to do it in a fast reliable method.
That's why the Asian sellers who do parts on eBay are able to ship worldwide. EMS is a much cheaper and more efficient carrier than anyone we have here. Sure it takes 3-4 weeks to show up but it comes with tracking, it's reliable and it only cost them $2-6 HK depending on the size of the package.

You should have used USPS Express Mail International the standard box is $38 or so... whatever it would have been much cheaper than DHL/UPS and all. I always use USPS Express Mail International to have goods shipped to me from the US... its basically the US Postal counterpart of EMS and is trackable...

dont even think about using UPS outside the US to anothe country. the rate is ridiculous and is doubled by brokerage and import fees once the item arrives to the other country. it sucks, but usps is really the only way unless you have unlimited cashflow
