Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

Talking to Rainman earlier, it seems the Randolph shades were never on the agenda because of the high risk breakage factor. I have stressed how important they are to the figure, but it might be worth you guys doing the same on FB if you can. The more people that voice it, the better chance we have of getting them.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

The more I look at it, the top definitely looks like it fits the long hair look. I'm digging the way this is going big time! :)

Yeh I hope that gets used for the haired head.

Aaron, as we discussed earlier today: the randolphs are a NECESSITY. Perhaps they could be the fullset exclusive if delicate and take a lot of time?

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

Agreed on the frowning expression for the haired sculpt!

The Randolphs are essential regardless of how fragile they may be i'm sure something can easily be worked out for shipping. Total fail if they are not included there so important! I'll message RM on FB as Teddy says I suggest everyone else does the same.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

I mentioned that it was a little inexcusable as harrow had the glasses but rainman said they did not have lenses.

If he can't work the lenses and metal then I suggested perhaps sculpting them like dudes ones and painting them. Better than nothing I think?

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

Go easy on him guys :lol

He did say he would consider it after I spoke to him. Just think it might be best to just voice a concern about the glasses potentially not being included.

As far as I know Robbie, there is no source at all. You could maybe snag the horrendous pair BP did for their Taxi Driver figure.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

He should look into have them photoetched and then paint the glass area gloss black.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

I'll just sculpt my own if need be but hope rainman can work something out.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

The shades really are a must I feel as the options aren't great when looking for an alternative.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

I dont know, maybe. I have been wanting to get into photoetching but have yet to do it. Might be a way in.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

Please add me to that list if it gets started robbie.

Can see your magic touch all over it already. They could come in a little cigar box.

:monkey3

Yea add me 2 that list also :). Robbie is a god send and I'm certain I speak for everyone when I say everything you do is very much appreciated :).

However it is getting a little old that we need to spend more on top to complete a 850 buck figure. Plainviews back pack is the exception that thing could not have been done 35+ time by Rainman and we all know Robbie could have and should have charged well more than 140 bucks! Things a mastetpiece. I'm thinking PF briefcase and now potentially the Randolphs. I know I don't know Rainman's schedule and really I have little to base this complaint on lol just getting a little sick of having to spend another 100+ for items Rainman in my mind should be able to include for the FS/DX price he charges.

It's all hypothetical as we don't know whats going on with the Randolphs yet but we shouldn't have to add more work to Robbies already jam packed plate everytime a Rainman release comes around. Having said that thank god for Robbie please never leave haha

Agreed:goodpost: If we jump ship and assume RM isn't going to come through and seek another source (Robbie) too soon, then RM will feel that he does not have to provide the glasses as we have found someone else.
