Travis Bickle: I got some bad ideas in my head

Travis Bickle: I'm standing here; you make the move. You make the move. It's your move...

Travis Bickle: Don't try it you ****.

Haired sculpt, custom chestpiece, M-65 jacket, Gunslide..... One of the most influential scenes in the History of Cinema!

The MOST ICONIC Deniro Scene.... and the father, the son and the holy spirit.

BS if you dont think this figure could be double the value and even triple the value in a years time.

How many would buy a dx wonka or Bill at that price today?

Add the possibility that Rainman might throw in an super exclusive bloody Bickle like he did with Bill

It is BS. Only a limited amount of people would pay what peeps pay for Wonka nowadays. I buy figs because i like them, not for future monetary value. Im sure that this fig will be great but will it have the WOW factor of the Butcher or Wonka and his umpa??? Remember, this fig has been done a few times before, and the clothes are easily bashable.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

The Gunslide needs to be made. It has never been done with great detail. Antons airtank was a very fragile effort, this is just as neccessary. Scorcese dedicated alot a screen time to this prop. Its Historic.

Just looking at the specs of Haired sculpt, Custom chestpiece and jacket, the gunslide accessory completes argubly one of the most iconic scenes in Film history. With the gunslide we can recreate that scene, that pose. This figure is shaping up beautifully that chestpiece needs its proper accessory, the gunslide

Get saving is all I will say :rotfl

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

Not sure I am following.

If Rainman does the arm slider for the DX or fullsets, I will happily send you the money for your DX.

If he decides not to do it, you buy my DX for me. You either send me the dollar or pay Rainman. Either way I am not fussy. Sound good?

Can't wait to see how this ends! Any Vegas odds yet? :thwak

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

Exactly. To be honest, I was never all that bothered with the arm slider. Chances of me displaying that is rare. The glasses are way more important imo.

I wouldn't go that far. I do think the slide is more important to this set than the glasses. It works with both looks. Glasses only one.

We will agree to disagree then. The shades are way more important in my book.

Good point. I forgot that he wears the M-65 with both looks and at times he wore it shirtless. Now for that the chest piece makes perfect sense. I thought it was an attempt to create the shirtless look… and I can see that not panning out very well.

Shades are really important and the gun slide is SUPER important IMO. Both are essential parts of the character. Turbo is right though; that is a big-time stand out prop which played part in big-time iconic scenes in cinematic history. If I had to choose I'd call the gun slide more important but for the increased price tag I'd really like to see both make the cut. As a matter of fact that would be the BEST FS item EVER!!!

This is coming from the same guy who wanted a mushroom instead of the Oompa. Thank God you didn't get a chance to ruin that for everyone. :lol

Both the shades and gun slide are really important. The gun slide would be by far the best FS item ever. I'm really hoping both somehow make the cut. They are essential to the character of Mr. Bickle.

Not sure if Robbie is or will be interested at all, but if RM doesn't do the gun slide, Robbie could totally make the best 1/6 gun slide ever.

In terms of ruin, you mean cash cow right? I know everything boils down to money for you.

Anyway, crack all the jokes you like, but your going to be $1000 plus dollars lighter shortly :lol

So bash one yourself then. Problem solved :dunno

Anyways I think if Rainman is doing the chest piece he should go all the way and do the Arm Slide.

Just makes too much sense!

Imo the suitcase should have been included with one of the two PF figures. Its good that Robbie was there to pick up the slack. It was sort of a blessing in disguise, because Rainman wouldn't have had the time and dedication to make a detailed suitcase like Robbie did.

The arm slide is something Rainman could pull off nicely. Leave the glasses to some of the more talented artists in here, whether it be Robbie or someone else.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

Seems since the bet was made RM has had an influx of mails begging and pleading for the arm slide :lol

JOKERS :rotfl

He is considering a DDX version with arm slide I am told. Not been confirmed yet. Think he is still thinking on it.

If it happens I think the DDX would be $1500. Kinda confirms the DX to be somewhere in the region of $1200 I would have thought.
