I thought long and hard about this. I was really close to putting Vince up for sale and bailing on Jules. I looked Vince deep and hard in his Rainman eyes... and I couldn't do it. I'm not nuts about how a lot of this was put together nor am I about how some of this came out, but I decided to take the leap of faith. I have to at least give Jules the chance and get him in hand to judge fairly. Gangsta numero due has been sitting in my cart for the last 3 days and I finally sealed the deal. In Rainman I trust


So I missed the whole ordeal. Congrats to all who scored and sorry to all those who couldn't get in. I thought there'd be a lot more talk here about who scored and who missed . It seems like something like 5 guys went for this and 3 scored (exaggerating). How many of these were allotted for GP?

Decided against picking the fullset up and was leaning against a h and c set but I saw a guy walking the streets yesterday with a spot on exact replica of Jules' dork shorts (not sure if intentional, probably not) and I'm wondering if its a sign to pick up a clothes set.

Congrats to all that picked up a fullest.

That's awesome, that is the way to decide. I'm going to try that the next time I sell a figure, look him right in his eyes!

Man I am super pumped for Jules, I don't get what people were complaining about, he looks so awesome already and yet Rainman is still going to tweak him and add the Big Kahuna drink which is just so awesome, not to mention Robbie making the briefcase! I can't wait to have Vincent and Jules next to one another!

Speaking of tweaks....

I really think one of the biggest things throwing this off are the frown lines. Jules definitely has deep frown lines but these are a bit too high and spread too wide towards the checks. It would do this sculpt great justice if he could turn the frown lines downward more toward the chin.

This isn't supposed to be exact position but you see what I mean:

















Jules' sculpt could actually use a lot of work. And looks like he's wearing lipstick

Speaking of tweaks....

I really think one of the biggest things throwing this off are the frown lines. Jules definitely has deep frown lines but these are a bit too high and spread too wide towards the checks. It would do this sculpt great justice if he could turn the frown lines downward more toward the chin.

i think this is pretty darn good!!!
I do think pop is right about the lines near the nose, but apart from that!!! WOW - Great Sculpt Rainman!!!

Thank you again, RM! So glad you could listen to your fans once again and make these adjustments for us! In the end it's for a much better final product and it will make us love your work even more! Hoping to get another H&C set myself, so I'll try my luck once again! Thanks again!

Was anyone able to place an order for both the full set and the H&C set last time? Got the full set, but I'm leaning towards dropping it for the H&C set so I can try using a shorter truetype for the body. Obviously don't want to cancel the full set unless I have a H&C secured.
