Ahhh good choice man these two together are going to be awesome!

Vincent is already awesome! I have absolutely no issues with Vincent. I am sure RM is going to pull Jules outta the bag. I am really excited to put them together now

Here's hoping the revised head pulls some more likeness out. I'm sure RM will come through. In my opinion Vince is one of Rainmans worst likenesses so im not expecting a spitting image portrait, but my main issue with Jules was not the likeness just that his ethnicity looked off I'm still vying for the perfect pulp fiction set someday but this will definitely do for the time being. I'm sure rainman will deliver on the revisions.

That being said... c'mon... Rainman's earlier Fight Club works I think are more lacking.

Yes, definitely one of rainman's worst likenesses but we all know the talent Rainman is so the standard is high. And I totally agree that the fight clubs may be the weakest link but somehow the Pitt likeness really came out in Tyler 2.0

EDIT. I don't count Marla either which was great. it's really Tyler 1 and Norton specifically Tyler 1. IMO that's still Rainman's weakest. Dexter might be a second but I don/t watch the show so i cant comment from an educated point.

And Hopkins might be another one of the weakest links as well.

My favorites are Bill, Anton, plainview, Alex, Marla, Alfred, Tuco, angel eyes

anton and pee wee are up there for me Since i don't own a Butcher....but the main reason i didn't jump on vince and now jules is just that i can't justify spending on something (headsculpt) that i would try to replace...the clothes are top notch...but he didn't make those....the usual high standard for his accessories is not easily surpassed...so you are left with the only thing he would need to improve on and thats the headsculpts...which i think is his weakest point...you really never know what you will get when something is started with RM...i'm hoping that Bickle is one of his greatest sculpts tho...

The frown lines really need major attention. I hate to say but that's as unnatural as it gets. Nobody's frown lines travel across someone's face like that; normally they at turned downward toward the chin. That's not just a matter of SLJ likeness, that's a matter of human likeness. That's the biggest culprit in throwing this sculpt off.

Please whoever has his ear make sure this is brought to his attention. There is already enough that went wrong with this release. I really hope he can fix that

I mentioned the frown lines before as well. It just doesn't fit his eyes, and it looks weird because his eyes and frown lines are displaying 2 different emotions.

Never noticed in that way before but TotalDominAsian and Pop are bang on the money with the frown lines observation. Now it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Pee Wee... Forgot about that. I had no interest in buying it though liked Pee Wee as a kid so thought it was a cool choice to make, it was a pure knockout. Plain and simple. Really awe inspiring.

Hate to say it but I'm in the same boat, I'd replace the Vince head in a heartbeat, I casually mentioned it a couple times but i was always really let down with the sculpt and more so in person. Sure paint and sculpt are top notch but Somehow it missed the boat completely on likeness, not sure where, the eyes and eyebrows were totaly off IMO the rest is sort of there but not quite somewhat exaggerated maybe, there's strong points its not like its a total miss, afterall rainman is a massive talent, but after Anton and plainview I wanted more for one of my all time holy grails

I also wasn't a fan of the hair, I almost understand why the connection seam was zig zagged but the bottom zig zagged was a tough pill to swallow. It sort of gave me an anime type vibe. I wish it was more of an even sculpt like xenoviper's. plus his hair was too long also.

Anyways i dont want to harp on it so moving on, I do think that the SLJ sculpt is close to being salvageable and turned into an amazing likeness, really I do, which is why I'm lobbying here, with Vince I knew it was too late. But if some of this feedback is translated into the Jules sculpt it could turn it into one hell of a figure, it's the kind of thing that if it were just that bang on all over it would make up for being light on accessories.

I have to massively disagree that Vince is one of Rainman's weakest.

Wow, never really noticed them lines also, but they really are screwing it all up!!! Hopefully that is the major tweak happening.

Aeons painted head pics for Jules are up on RM's site...it looks to be the old sculpt she has painted up not a revised version. Paintwork looks good but the skintone could be darker or it might be the lighting.

I agree it could be a bit darker. Even when there is lots of light on Jules' face in the film he doesn't look that light IMO.

With a few tweaks in the right areas, this sculpt is going to be a winner

Rainman got the skin colour right, but Aeon got the lip colour. They both need combining
