Ooh boy now I'm worried because this has been built up so much... Bound to be more squabbling because its unlikely even the greatest of improvements can meet up to our collective unrealistic expectations.

Watch he took it back to the drawing board and any minute he's about to drop the reveal..... with real hair :panic: :lol

You know what I'd be down with that lol, would be interesting to see how it had turned out if RM had gone with his initial approach.

I honestly doubt real hair is on the table anymore as interesting as it would be to see. I'm just glad he's tweaking (or with any luck starting from scratch) the sculpt. It really needs work

Still praying that the wallet's been addressed.

Bad Mutha Wallet should look more like this. The font is also better, it actually looks stitched in and is legible. This isn't even professional work and in all honesty it looks better :dunno:

Rainman's needs to be a bit more leathery tan, that peel away font is terrible. Even the shape of the wallet itself is off. These things need to be thought out better.

That wallet is totally the wrong colour, the shape is off as is the letters. That's the first time I've seen the comparison pics from Turbo and it really makes you notice how off it is.

Does anyone know if I can cancel my H+C and get the full set if RM just moves the $ over since I already paid for those? I'm tired of worrying about bodies, dork outfits, paintjobs and the Bad MoFo wallet (all of which I'm sure will be as close to perfect as Rainman can make them). There's at least one still available so I'm planning to snag before the new head is shown and everybody starts scrambling.

Vincent was my first rainman purchase so im not a rainman authority, but I think the Vincent is amazing and I didn't have any issues with jules and thought the sculpt was spot on. im wondering if we are missing the point! I know his figures are very expensive but im just glad he is making figures of some of the best characters in cinema to the standard he does for us collectors to own while companys like hot toys and enterbay miss these key pieces. DO WE REALLY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEMAND BETTER AND PICK HIS FIGURES APART PIECE BY PIECE? may be im wrong but i just want to thank rainman for what he does and hope he never stops. im sure when he shows his sculpt to us he is 100% happy with it at the time and has put his all into it who are we to pull it apart?

One person's demand is another's request is another's critique... :dunno

Can, should one point out areas for improvement? The answer is YES.

Just look at the Cowboy thread for instance, if the Jules sculpt was as spot on as the Blondie sculpt there would be no disagreement. Take the Cowboy's boots, which are not as nice or accurate as the rest. This was pointed out by the majority and some attempt to improve them was made. By all means, sit on your hands, remain quiet if you will, but I don't think suggestions to silence or shame critique under the banner of "artist respect" will or should get anywhere.

Discussion in a discussion thread on a discussion forum, who would've thunk it? :duh

I think it's more that people know that Rainman can produce the best customs around and want them to be at the standard of his previous work. After all, everyone wants the figures to be as good as they can possibly be and are offering ideas to improve things. Some people are a bit more blunt in how they express their views and can come across as being negative, but I certainly don't think that is the case.
