Ya, that's what I'm thinking. I'm definitely getting Blondie from iminime, but I think I may have to give up my deposit and hopes of getting the Dude's outfit from Moe since I've committed to getting one for Bill the Butcher. Still super interested in Xenoviper's Drive figure... Lol man this hobby is addicting.

But I just realized... Why all this fretting about the body?? Why do we even need an Enterbay body? Can't Rainman just use one of the new true types? These guys are wearing suits... The headsculpts include a neck... So all Rainman has to do is paint the hands and pegs... Right?

Some folks are worried about size and proportions. Based on what I can see the EB body looks like a very imperfect solution, since it seems actually bulkier than the TT's (and Jules should be slimmer). Just putting an extenda-leg peg on a TTM-21 would probably work for me. Hopefully the outfits aren't so specifically tailored to the body Rainman is working on that this won't work.

The EB doesn't sound like the right soultion. It's too tall, apperantely too muscular and takes too much work to make it right. Plus there was a lot of talk about wobbly knees.

I know no one wants to believe this but the AA KO at this point is the best bet. They really have come a long way. Plainview came on a V2 and he was ok. Beto's Beetlejuice and Iminime's Lecter came on a V3 and they are surprisingly acceptable; better than the already improved V2.

IDK if the proportions have changed yet (I can compare Lecter's body to early Iminime stuff) but the V1 was taller and slightly thinner than the TTM18. It's perfect for Jules. If they changed the height to be shorter on the KO then it's an easy fix with long foot pegs (which only increases the height by about 1/2"; also perfect). Plus the hands, foot pegs and neck plug are all compatible with HT.

I know how some people feel about the whole idea. I wouldn't want to see this become a standard for future releases but the fact is that it is the best soultion or this particular case. I rather sacficice the small drop in quality of the joints to gain the poper proportions and hand in foot pegs that are easily interchangeable with HT.

I'm not sure everyone understands that the big reason an AA body is needed is not because we're so obsessive that the body must be black beneath the clothes, but because the hands need to be AA. This is Rainman's first AA character. Painting hands or casting in resin is not an option - paint wears off and resin is inflexible. It's much easier and cheaper to find bodies with AA hands. I think the EB can be used no problem if a new chest piece is made. It will require alteration but so would a KO. The hand joints seem compatible with HT, though we'll likely use the EB hands, and you don't need the feet to be compatible unless you plan to swap Rainman's shoes with a different pair. :dunno

Plus, it sounds like he's already bought 30 of these. So purchasing another 30 bodies probably isn't appealing. Surely he is aware of the ZCWO AA KO bodies so he did not choose them for whatever reason, perhaps because of the grumpy backlash last time he used them. Rainman has not weighed in on this so he likely has a plan we haven't thought about or can come up with one if he isn't satisfied with the proportions. It's fun to think about but let's see how this susses out before we :panic:
I'm not so quick to accept or reject anything until I've heard from the man making these. And my crappy rushed iphone pics aren't great to form a judgement from. I trust Rainman in this case and look forward to an update when he's ready. Making these things by committee doesn't seem like a good idea, just look at the confusion and frustration that took place on both sides with Vincent after the JRS version was twisted into the suit version.

Well guys, for 24 hours only Sideshow has some stuff eligible for a $20 discount code. "Tax20"

I used mine to get a TT21 body for Vincent! You should too if you bought the head/outfit set! Came out to only be $40 shipped!!

Yep, whenever SSC has given out codes over the last couple of months, I've used them toward Truetypes. $15 or more and the Truetypes are a great deal. Not so much buying anything else through their site, since the Rewards Points will usually equal more than the savings you get through the coupon (you would only get about $2.50 in rewards points for a Truetype).

No, not agitated just trying to get the point across better. The more I think about the fact that I paid $800 bucks for this, the more I realize how neccessary that watch error needs to get fixed.

For something that costs this much, you do kinda hope that it is as accurate as possible. Some people may see it as a small issue but it really should be fixed before the figures are shipped out (I hope).

Update time!

I have chatted with Rainman and rest assured the watch issue is being fixed. He hopes to show the finished watch in the next day or two. He's very apologetic that he's been so busy and hasn't had time to get back to the many pms and posts on the forum. He has a lot of work on his plate as of late.

He wanted me to let you know just cause he hasn't gotten back to you does not mean the love is not there. He wishes he could reply to everyone everyday but there is just not enough time.

Hee also wants everyone to get along and not fight. Bring love to the hobby with great friends!

Lastly, Vincenzo should be shipping by the end of the month. :peace
