That's one of the big problems of voicing opinions about color based on photos. The color may be dead on in real life but isn't being picked up accurately in the photo. The pants on the other hand are tonal based so it makes for a more accurate judgment but even still, it can be misleading. I see the ovals as a more salmon color on my phone but only in hand will we know what it really is.

Looking at the proto, the ovals look to be the same color as the jacket. Just comparing the two pics, I would say these are lighter than the proto.

The custom chest piece makes a huge difference but if Rainman said he's waiting on stands then the possibility exists that he went with another bodychoice for Bill :clap

And I can finally see the hole fitted for the pipe on the sculpt! Somthing I was interested in seeing. Well Done!

Hmmm... I'm not so sure about changes to the vest though; judging from the H+C photos on his website it appears to be the same with the lighting playing a part in distorting how dark it was made to look early on. The pants fix was an excellent improvement though as it will certainly subdue any slight inaccuracies the vest color may have. But judging from that pic, this figure is Bound for Glory!!!...and right before the 4th of July, How Appropriate! :clap

You totally right, colors in pics can be deceiving but I'm not sure how big of a problem voicing our opinion on the matter is. As long as the artist has the right reference material he/she is (or should be) the best judge in the end. If we say "by the way, the ovals on screen are orange", the artist can say "oh yea, you're right. I'll address that" or they can say "it actually is the color you guys are suggesting in hand, the camera just can't pick it up". At the end of the day the artist has to be looking at the right pictures as reference

This right here is a prime example of how good suggestions from the crowd can lead to improvements. Pics and color tricks aside, I think the ovals were definitely changed. The protos look like nearly the same red as the jacket in every single pic and these are undoubtably orange as seen on screen and as suggested

I see a siluotte of all kinds of posed out figures way towards the back....I'm trying to see what Rainmans got cooking over there :lol.

Looks so good. At least I'm getting the head sculpt.
I'll join the end of the line of those who want a clothing set...

I'm hoping that's the case and the apparently skinny arms and shiny hands aren't camera tricks themselves

If the proportions are right I would definitely display him without the coat from time to time to show off that awesome vest :rock

The pics definately give off some signals that the body was changed especially the looser fitting shirt that actually works to the figures advantage but was probably originally tailored to the TTM-21.

wow the changes are amazing ,
caint wait for this -
i can see for sure that the vest colours as been change from the original ,one hell of a great job Lee

:lol

I'm hoping that he went the whole 9 and changed the arms and the tailoring. I guess we shall see soon enough!
