It seem's there is a little more interest in David, i don't think he will win, but maybe it's enough to see him made at some point!:)

You might be better served if you throw the typical pricing and figure options into the equation as well. You'd gauge more serious interest for the characters. You've got 48 total votes and I can promise you there aren't 48 Rainman buyers on this board.

I would definitely get Max, might get Marty and would not get David.

Max would be a real challenge and should come with his dog and a second battle-damaged head.

I'd only ever get the clothes set and unpainted head since it's $300+ instead of $700+, but also the character determines what collectors would be interested in the figure too. I like western figures by Rainman. I'm not going to say which character I voted for but the idea to do a figure Hot Toys is about to do is probably my least favorite. Mad Max would allow Rainman's to do some really neat 1/6th stuff though.

The two things I want in a Rainman figure are characters that I believe will never have an official licensed release, and characters that I love on film.

Out of these three Marty is the only one I'd consider, but just the fact Hot Toys is interested in making him will keep me away. Because when it comes to a figure like Marty, I'd want the officially licenesed product.

Is it true that over on OSW there's a thread telling people to come over here and vote just to mess with Rainman? Because there aren't any 61 Rainman customers on this board with $800 to spend on a figure that comes in an edition of 20...:cuckoo:

Please note, I have not advocated for any of the choices...I just don't see what Rainman is to glean from this. Way more people than will ever order, and pretty much a dead heat between three great ideas.

I guess there's also Head&Clothes buyers, like myself, and the other sets?

Dunno if they make up for such an amount though :huh

you make a good point and I can see Marty and Max both being officially licensed 1:6 at some point.

While I don't disagree that guys unlikely to buy are probably voting, his last few full figures were 30 I believe, and on top of that you've got several outfit and head sets that folks can buy. Ultimately, well more than 20 of a given figure can and will be made from a Rainman order.
