Oh no. I'm not giving up on the figure being made. I'm just giving up on Rainman making him.:lol

edit: I actually even asked Rainman if he could just alter the Bill head and do the sculpt alone and nothing else.

I really hope that one day Rainman will give us Plainview, I will chance my arm and wait :pray:
 
Got the unpainted head in the mail yesterday... its a beauty. Very very high quality casting and the likeness is stunning. Easily some of the best work I've ever seen in 1/6 :lecture
 
It is it is... it's astounding. Really a new pinnacle for Rainman. I can not say enough about how wonderful I think this figure is. I don't say this about many of my figures (like every time I get a new one) but this might be the best all around figure in my collection from a custom perspective and maybe even a figure perspective).

I agree. He captured not only the look of Lewis in the sculpt but also the attitude of Bill the character. Doesn't always happen in this hobby. And then with the paint it really looks like Bill is thinking about how to kill you also. He has that look of a sociopath. Fantastic.
 
I will back Tim up and say yes this is better than my Bobby C Joker with full set Kato clothing

I know which one I would sell first :)

I think your right and whilst I love the Joker I don't love him as much as some on here, Bill has always been up there for me since the very moment I seen him on the big screen :)

Marty/Driver clothing sets? Not full figures but just cloths? Great idea for the Marty but would love to see a Rainman sculpt for Travis Bickle.

How many of you guys would spend the $7-800 for a Plainview?
I think at one point I counted about 5 or 6 people.
