Shameful that this thread hasn't been posted in in over a week. I got my screw for the head and finally put the parted out set together. Such a magnificent figure, even though the paint apps on the DF Studios eyes pale compared with Rainman's. I'm thinking about putting this one in my office at work.

Considering the tailoring on the outfit, the head sculpt, and belt/knives, and this has to be one of the most impressive 1/6th scale figures I've seen.

Love the tash on this guy and how it sticks out from the actual sculpt!,ehh you know what character you could do that for again?...:monkey3

Your hats on backwards. :)

Such an amazing figure.

Whoopsie Daisy! I just stuck it on there at the end. He's displayed without the hat or overcoat.

Agreed. A Rollie Fingers figure would be awesome.

Congrats Kara

The DF paint job actually looks fantastic imo just a shame the eyes dont show the obvious difference :(

Yeah, it's definitely very nice. I've not been disappointed with a DF paintjob yet. With Bill the eyes are definitely nicer on Rainman's though. But I'm very pleased with mine :)

I totally agree with the three of you guys--apart from the eyes, top notch paintwork, and really, the eyes aren't bad or anything. They just aren't up to the level of what Rainman has done here.

Totally I love this paint job! Just like Tim said absolutely nothing wrong with the eyes at all just hard to see the difference between real and glass eye

Also, it's actually much harder to tell the difference in person than in pics. Apart from shape, I couldn't see any real noticeable details on the glass eye until I took a pic and zoomed in, though at that scale, that's not a big surprise. Certainly, the greener right eye of the Rainman painted heads makes the eye much more distinctive.

On another note, I picked up some Dastan (I think?) gripping hands from Toy Anxiety, and they were way too dark for the TrueType I used. Almost made it look like he was wearing gloves. So, I used my Aldo hand instead. Interestingly, the Dastan hands look closer to the flesh tone on Aldo's head, and since he's got long sleeves the difference in shade isn't very important anyway IMO. So, a simple switch out there worked for me.
