I was offered to end the auction a number of times at the price I started at. I was going back and forth with it, and also with letting the auction go it's course. I finally thought if it sells I will never own this figure again, no way possible at the prices they go for.
Who knows about the future though. We just had our first child Friday and babies can be expensive and time consuming. So the possiblity may be there down the road.

Whoa. Congrats! Babies (i.e., doctor, daycare, food/bottles, clothes, crib, rocker(s), car seat, stroller, bedding, diapers, wipes, medical stuff, etc.) can definitely suck away funds. Then they get older and you have to start paying for things like soccer, gymnastics, swim lessons, music lessons, birthday parties, and trips to the zoo/circus/mall/museum. Then add your mortgage, car payments, savings, food, utilities, gas. . .

I put less than no thought into it lol it puts across the general vibe I was going for. Your right though its of course all about the Oompa
That's a tough one. This figure was made to go on a Truetype Narrow Shoulder, but with a custom sculpted chest piece. Without that chest piece, you're gonna have to go with a Soldier Story or muscle body option. At that point, it may depend on what clothes you get put together, and what best matches what the clothes are tailored for.

Anyone know if the HS can fit the Christian neck plug ok?
Im just more worried about matching skin tone
The head sculpt is made to work with Rainman's custom chest piece (using a little hook/screw that connects to an elastic-y band), so it probably won't easily fit any standard pegs.

think you should be fine getting the butcher HS onto a TTM; havent had any issue with it myself. far as i know, it fits the TTM18, 19 and ive seen someone stick it on the 21 recently. think, at worst, you might have to remove the ball peg from the neck. havent seen any example on the christian body but that's not to say it's impossible.
I'm sure you could just prop it up on the neck, maybe use some blu-tac to keep it in place. The question is about the neck adapter. Since it wasn't designed to work with one, I would imagine that you will have to do some mods to get it to work with anything out there.

you might be right. but even without a body, the butcher sculpt is worth having on the shelf. rainman really is untouchable when it comes to daniel day lewis.
