Most of Rainman's figures have been from films over the past 30 years or so (Fight Club, Dexter, the Dude, Bills, Plainview, Holliday, Pee Wee, Dexter, Pulp Fiction, Anton, Marty, and Torrance). Lots more movies have been released in that time that are on the same level of popularity as those films. So, I don't see his strategy changing very much. He'll probably keep doing a mix of more modern and more classic characters. There's always going to be something folks are interested in. I was watching Fear and Loathing last night. Definitely a top want of mine that I would love to see him attempt. And I would flip if he did characters from another Kubrick film--Dr. Strangelove.

Musicians are a major untapped market for the 'Man, and there aren't many guys out there doing high end versions of them (biggest one was Serang, who is a deadbeat now and seems to be finished as a custom seller). A Rainman Deckard could be sweet, but unfortunately someone else has used his tailor for that figure already, and is doing a V.2 himself. Given that Rainman's tailor doesn't rehash outfits, it's not likely we'll see him doing that character. MacReady from the Thing could be a huge Rainman release, though, in that vein.

I think with limited releases there are tons of roles that are highly worthy of rainmans treatment, and it isnt exactly a problem for Lee to sell out on normal releases, even if the character isnt everyones cup of tea. Cant please everyone.

Great Lakes has a great suggestion, I think.
A Morrison or (yeah, a fan!) the Beatles...
...or Deckard...
...or a redo of Tyler...
...or...what about the Corleone family?
...or a "Goodfellas" trilogy?
...or...Brando/Sheen/Hopper/Bottoms from "Apocalypse"?
...or...Amsterdam?
Hey! This is fun!

A lot of this is already being done - masterworks is doing a goodfellas all 3 release... Corleone family is also being done by them - you shld see their new denero and al Pacino sculpts - insanly accurate! Like straight up screaming likeness!

Amsterdam is being done by someone as well

I always wanted a Calvin candie (django) and that's being done by wearetoyz in collaboration with yunsil.

Let me know I am on the list on most of these and can share more info - except Amsterdam which is already done!

The Exorcist, Lestat and Louis, Freddy Kruger, Axel Foley!!
I would definitely be down for a Father Karras, personally. He's always resonated as a character, but never had much interest in Regan. He's the only 'good guy' I'd ever want from a horror movie, now that I think about it.

It's funny, but I don't like the idea of having 'real people' on my shelf, even though I'm fine with say, Harrison Ford as Deckard or Han Solo.

Is that on the forum? I haven't seen a Masterworks Vito or Michael...

Rainmans new project: Overlook Caretaker

There is - Michael is already released. Vito is a remarkable sculpt - I mean best denero likeness ever! - I don't want to post pics as this is rainman thread but look for a thread on young capo and goodfellas and you will se denero pics (young Vito) there as well

Musicians are definitely untapped, so many iconic figures just waiting to be made. How about some classic tv; Seinfeld and Kramer, M*A*S*H, David Letterman, Robert Conrad (Wild Wild West), Get Smart (the accessories would be phenomenal), Al Bundy, etc.

Finishing off Tombsone with Johnny Ringo would be nice as well.

Ah yes, I've found the De Niro and it looks great.

But isn't that Young Capo by Cult King, not Masterworks?
