He almost has to switch genre's get ready : RM- The Blockbuster era is coming!
Indeed. It's seems he is destined to tackle the more contemporary market now.

He could either do contemporary film or golden era films as hes done a few of those. Chaplin, Hepburn..etc. but those don't really have a mass appeal.Indeed. It's seems he is destined to tackle the more contemporary market now.
You always got waiter outfit Tyler and Tyler riding the bike with the hat on (Robbie will do the bike again) lolI thought about 'golden era' characters as well, however, like you rightly said, they don't have that mass appeal RM would surely look for.
I wouldn't say no to a reissuing of Tyler v1 & v2
I think the majority of us here are like that, eh Phine?
Next project for RM? SOMETHING...ANYTHING - I DON'T WANT!!!
Here are some suggestions:
Roseanne Barr;
Chris Martin;
Sonny Bono;
Prime Minister Bille Hughes;
Someone playing badminton;
Elvis' pool cleaning guy;
Me;
A Tele-Tubby;
A fat, naked guy eating a sandwich; and/or
One of the Von-Trapp kids.
Lee, if you're reading, any of the above will keep my wallet happy. Cheers, m.
Deniro shines with Robbies shades on. I know it should shine without them, but once you place them bad boys on Trav, the transformation is incredible. With the shades on, it's definitely one of his best.
So I was just thinking.............where does the great man go from here? RM has had a good run over the last few years with cult, iconic characters. I am struggling to think of many more that would appeal to the masses as well as RM.
I would really love to see RM tackle H. Ford, either in the form of Indy or Deckard.
My collection consists of a lot of lower end and a couple of higher (read, "much higher!") end figures. And they come from all spectrums of "life": Pop culture, movies, Sci-fi and even military). I buy because of likenesses, mostly. A case in point? I recently bought the Dam Toys M247 gunner...because the sculpt is based on "Animal Mother" from "Full Metal Jacket"! Yes...I'm quite mad like that. It's the aesthete in me, I guess.
The twins are a more "interpretive" take rather than a definitive likeness, but they carry menace, and are rich in pop culture subtext. Stand alone, they speak volumes...
Point I'm making? I don't care if a figure has cost me $90 or $3500 (don't ask) - I bought them because I loved how they looked to me. I'm nearly 50. I won't be selling them to make some money down the track (but I don't begrudge those that do). I bought them for the simple "big-kid" joy of just, well...looking at them!
They give me joy!
I thought he meant John Wayne and gonzo from the Muppets
I'm thinking a few iconic musicians would be awesome: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Pete Townshend, Jim Morrison, Springsteen, The Beatles, etc.
Great Lakes has a great suggestion, I think.
A Morrison or (yeah, a fan!) the Beatles...
...or Deckard...
...or a redo of Tyler...
...or...what about the Corleone family?
...or a "Goodfellas" trilogy?
...or...Brando/Sheen/Hopper/Bottoms from "Apocalypse"?
...or...Amsterdam?
Hey! This is fun!
Yeah all of those except Apocalypse Now have been done or are being doneGreat Lakes has a great suggestion, I think.

So much still untouched.You've got other great sources, too, like: "Strangelove", "Departed", "Raging Bull", "2001", "Snatch", "Psycho"...
I think there's a lot of untrammelled ground still out there.
But, hey...one release at a time!!!
