What I get from it is:

1) He will only be doing the 24hour order only once per year which means that Jack is the 24hour order for 2015. Whatever else he manages to get done this year will go back to the old way of doing business

2) If a DX reaches retail prices of $2,000 or $3000 dollars (as a result of all that's included in the package) than naturally those will be offered on an open ended basis.

I didn't take from it that he was going to start charging resale prices for his normally priced 1k figures at all. I don't know why anyone would interpret it that way.

That was my guess as well... but this line is what was confusing:

But your interpretation that One per year (this one being Torrance) and if the DX is a very high value to start with (Over $2k) makes the most sense. But I could also see some logic in the idea of charging non-VIP's more since it does have some possible impact on those with VIP status. But charging 2x to 3x more would not be good

Love the way he throws in an anecdote about his childhood and its spot on. How many times before maybe we had the jobs we have now to allow us to collect in this hobby have we seen a figure we wanted but just couldn't justify the price or flat out couldn't afford it. Beautifully said.

I took his statement as, like a few of you said, he'll have it open ended for this release and allow everyone to grab a figure for say $1K as opposed to $2-$3K aftermarket. I don't see the value in these ever going down and there is only a small community who will even shell out this kinda dough for a figure. I always believe for these level of customs, you'll get your money back if you decide to part ways, which is enough for me. I truely think at the end of the day, we're all going to be satisfied by this method and hope it happens more frequently.

And that Jack sculpt is a fuggin thing of beauty. Seeing Robbie's trike and now that sculpt, my excitement levels are about as high as they were for Bill 2.0.

I have been trying to deduce the pricing if the twins will not be included but instead offered later on....which means 860-1200 for regular and DX sets...so the numbers that are strange are the 2000-3000.....which leads me to believe he really meant that he doesn't want fans that did not get a chance to get them at the regular 860-1200 price tag and now have to pay 2000-3000 int he after market...which he doesn't want because he remembers how it used to be to miss out on something you really wanted...but I guess we wait...to see VIP and regular sells...

I think there should be a "stead" in front to make it 1000 in stead of 2000-3000 that's the best possible way I can see unless the intention is to really sell at 2k

That's probably the intention; having the opportunity to pay $1,000 rather than 2-3x that amount on the after market.

I imagine the full figure will be the same as usual ($850ish). Robbie said the trike would be about $400. So, the only real X factors are Danny and the twins. I'm guessing between $2,000-$2,500 for the whole shebang.

I would still stick to what I said a while ago:
H and c 580 ish
Full set 850-900 (assuming will have a special item)
Dx: 1500 (assuming has Danny and trike)
For twins additional 300-500

Should cap at 2k ...

This is what I implied earlier , he might just do big named projects open ended but then back the other way. I have a feeling maybe the twins will be limited if they are an add on and let VIP get dibs on those first.
