Personally I disagree. I think Bickle was right up there with Bill quality wise. The DX set was also to my mind the best set as a whole he has ever done. I LOVE the Harrow OOAK its right up there with his best maybe even at the top of the pile but Nucky fell short for me especially sculpt wise. Very very excited for Torrance.

I think that the custom 1/6 landscape has just changed, to be honest. Rainman used to be really the only custom figure producer turning out high-quality, cult cinematic characters, so the anticipation was much greater and wide-spread. Now with all of these smaller companies popping up and producing decent unlicensed work and (especially) the introduction of iminime, it's just a whole new ballgame. There are a lot of outlets vying for collectors' attention, now. Then again, it could just be the character selection or (more likely) that no WIP pics have been posted yet.

You're 100% right and I was saying basically the same thing recently. Things have changed in the game as a whole and there were even things that transpired within RM's own realm that probably had a big effect on momentum. All I can say is I hope he brings his A+ game with Torrance and blasts this out of the park to jump start that old excitement again!

sidenote: it's definitely not the character because this was clamored for for quite a while and just won the recent poll by a landslide
