Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Was wondering if Rainman would ever consider making alternative outfits for his releases. Maybe one option, if not multiple.

I would really like to see Doc in different outfit(s). Saw that the Painted/un-painted heads are still available. If alternate outfits are sold, I am sure it'll make more business sense. Old rant, but I wish I could get a Bill outfit right now.

Wishful thinking...

Those getting the Iminime painted sculpts are in for a treat, best paintjob bar none be it custom or mass produced. When you do get it in hand you will see how right I am...

:lol I do, I was actually surprised to find out your Stanfield was not a fullset!:horror :panic::panic: :lol It does Look great, I got my first Kauto paintjob recently!:yess:

At that point I was collecting more than just Rainman figures so had to make decisions back then. It was probably the reason why I sold it in the end but the paint up by Kuato was just superb! I am glad you are happy with your Kuato paint up. Hard not to be!

Since you had to ask, IMO Yes... I never did like Rainman's paintwork, seemed too what can I say, stylized to me (eg excessively green/blue eyes, skin tone sometimes a little too perfect etc etc).
After seeing Messi's head in my hands I can safely say Iminime's paint is as realism oriented as possible, which I prefer...

So end of the day it all comes down to preference of a certain style, I do not like excessive stylization in human characters

Wow that paint job is amazing there is no doubt! I completely understand where you are coming from re the style of paint job.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

So book your Se7en set NOW! :lecture

:lol they are amazing but I can pass on these for now. I am pretty much semi retired. I know what I need now and what is just pure indulgence and unfortunately no matter how good they are it would be the latter for me.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Amazing paint job!!:thud:, the very first paint job I seen of theres was there Ronaldinho and it just blew me away!

You mean, "blindly" loyal.

Not taking a *** at you, but how can one be semi retired from this? I mean, you are still keeping your figures right? Do you mean not buying anymore? To me "retired" would mean selling all of your figures, not buying anymore and stop visiting the boards or talk/write about it. I'm pretty sure we'll see you around for a while and you'll keep buying a figure here and there. ;) :lol

Well I meant it slightly differently. In the past I have indulged on figures when I didn't necessarily need them as such. I will semi retire now as I am happy with my collection and should Rainman make a figure on my most wanted list then yes I will purchase it but I will just visit the board to chime in more than anything now.

Well, You've convinced/commissioned Rainman to make you a popular figure only available to you and you've managed to upgrade your Bill with the Proto hat (you know, the one with the slightly better blue radiant on the ribbon):wink1: and switch up the jacket (you know, that rare Rainman weathering):wink1: so I'd say semi retired is a good move since your
playing that trying to prove a point "card" more than anything else.:lol Cheers to you my friend, you've played the game well!:clap

I'd like to walk toward the sunset already myself if Rainman would just make this Travis Bickle already!:gah:
