Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I really think that it's bad choices except pee wee ahah

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I think Wyatt is a'aight considering he's the main character in the film (that Rainman is obviously a big fan of), but the Johnny Ringo thing is tougher to swallow. In one sense, I'm happy to see it in that I think Rainman has kowtowed to the demands of his customers too much for too long, and should take an opportunity to just do what he really wants to from time to time. But on the other hand, I'll probably pass, as, I suspect, will others. My reasoning isn't that it isn't a popular choice in general, but that it's a secondary character from a second tier western released in the not-too-distant past. If this was a similar choice from a western from the 50s or 60s, I would be more interested. If it was a really iconic performance (like Doc) from the 1990s, I might be interested. But it is neither of those things. I hope he doesn't set the edition size too high on that one, anyway.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I am very interested in both Wyatt and Ringo. I have no need for Pee Wee Herman on my shelves (but that's me).

My account with Rainman shows payment accepted. Hopefully tracking info follows very shortly.

How many releases does Rainman put out yearly on average? Should we expect Pee Wee, Ringo and Wyatt all this year?

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

If given a choice between Wyatt and Ringo, I'd go for Wyatt too. Doc and him go together well. They complement each other.

To put it in a very crude manner, imo:
Doc and Ringo = Mark V and Whiplash
Doc and Wyatt = Mark VI and War Machine

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp in Tombstone isnt that iconic and his acting in that film to me wasnt nowhere near as fantastic as Val Kilmers was.
Johhny Ringo is too irrelevant for me to consider paying the kind of scratch on him.
Ill be on the lookout for whatever it is that Rainman does next year and helps me save up for when he does drop something that strikes my fancy.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

This must really be Rainman's favorite movie. A Tombstone trio... Just wish he'd change the mood up a bit after Doc for his other collector fans. It's starting to look like atleast a year and 1/2 wait before non-tombstone fans get another figure.:dunno

Well maybe all the fan feedback will change Rainmans mind about the future projects as far as Tombstone goes. Glad Pee Wee will break up the flow a bit. Really looking forward to the magic Rainmans gonna produce with this piece. Getting that Wonka feeling all over again! :)

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

if i'm honest, i'm actually looking forward to pee wee much more than doc and doc's on his way. that's saying something. with gary's bike looking amazing it could really light up a shelf.

i would love to get a wyatt, but maybe down the road. would be cool to see some of these other characters that are semi-definite first. maybe rainman likes to finish a series before he moves on though like GBU and fight club :dunno

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Though I probably will buy Wyatt and Ringo, as far as western figures go I would rather see a Eastwood Unforgiven or a Crowe 3:10 to Yuma instead of Ringo.
