New guy question here.... Does anyone know apx how long it takes to be approved for Rainman's website? I applied a few days ago and have not heard back yet and was just curious.

Thanks guys. Im going to do some serious futzing and get some new pics shot.

People interested in a free cigarette... I took a small piece of paper (cut from Rainman's invoice actually) and rolled it up with a touch of saliva. Free and fast. Old school. A little more permanent would be a wee touch of white glue. Good to go...

Received my Doc and Bill the Butcher unpainted heads today.
When I paint them I'll only have myself to blame is the lips are too pink.

Question: I had expected that the hat was going to be the same color as the head. It is molded in black. Those of you who have unpainted heads: will you be painting your hats ? Those who have prepainted heads : is the hat painted too or is it molded in black ?

btw: Robbie, kind of you to offer the free cigarettes. What is the cost of shipping your DNA around the world ?

Which body are folks using for this? Since I missed the full fig I got the painted head and outfit. Now I need to assemble.

I painted the bottom of the brim flat black as it was shiny, plus I had to dermel the flash off the brim. The top of the hat is a nice flat black.

I think a few if not most are using a narrow body. Either the Headplay body (which is around $24 shipped) or Hot Toys TTM18 (cost around $60 shipped). I went with the Headplay as it has excellent reviews and is half the price.

Just as I posted that the door rang. Doc has arrived.

This is what I found when I opened it...

I was all "NO!!!!"

Everything is ok, but Rainman, this package needed more padding dude. Lucky the head didn't get scratched or the brim broken. Im assuming it raddled around like that all the way from Korea.

Time to assemble.

oh and no cup.

Well that did it ,I'm now terrified!

That is terrible packaging!!

I hope my package won't be as bad, I will find out tomorrow as it arrived in the country tonight.yess

Those are the virtual toys explorer boots. They originally come in brown with straps on top and bottom.

Since I was in the middle of moving to Italy I had my FS Doc shipped to my parents home in Miami. Didn't want to risk him getting lost in transition. I got a good look at him and now I can't wait for my parents to ship him to me.
