Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Not at all mate. I am interpreting the message from earlier. If you read it it comes over as a compromise? I can give you sweat but I can't give you pale as well?

IMO the pictures we have seen show him as pale as he can really get, I don't believe he could look any more pale so therefore I think what you see will be the DX hatless head paint and sweat application now. I believe ours will have sweat but look slightly healthier in complexion so not to detract from DX.

Teddy, do you think there is any chance we will see a painted sample of the DX head before order time tomorrow? Im thinking no, but how would you even know if you wanted to try to get a DX if we have not seen a paint master?

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I don't think that's very cool at all then really, have to be honest.

Like I say it is just my interpretation of the message but I feel confident I am reading between the lines correctly. If not you can all lynch me for causing a scene :monkey3

I mean, does he really look that pale here? Apart from that last pic, he looks fairly healthy already?!

How well will he look?!

Agreed.

Perhaps the sale should be delayed?

Not at all bud. You raise a good alternate understanding to be fair. :duff

Good question.

I really do think what we are seeing is the one paint and sweat application above but under different lighting conditions? I think he looks pretty ill.

That being said I think the above is 'the pale effect'

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I thought the sweat was shopped though? Or perhaps that last pic is shopped paler too?

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

:monkey2ok.
really really i want speak english well...but i can't..i'm so sad for us.

I will explan about heads.

i was thinking like this
Full set secret is Metal cup.
DX secret is pale full face(without hat and with sweating)

But many peoples want me make sweating head for " Full set+DXset customers".

I knew Doc was sweating always in movie.

It is too hard works..but i will do it for you guys.

But I wont make "pale effect for fullset".

That is only for DX set ( i said so many time about this).
I had promise with DX customers.

Let me keep the appointment.:)
hopefully I dont want make misunderstude becasue my english.

I want explan well but this is my limit... haha.

goodluck my friends for tomorrow.

I should sleep.. already 5:00 AM at here...
:monkey2

Sound like Rainman want to deliver this on time as promised and to make the full sets pale will take too much time and 'hard work'. He's willing to add the sweat even though that too is addition work. Also want to keep the DX extra head special.

Of course. But that is not what we are questioning.

We are questioning whether the head advertised has this 'pale effect' already.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

IF I am right in my interpretation then being honest it would be better to have the pale complexion and no sweat. That can always be added by a customiser or yourself. Once you have the sweat on a healthier looking complexion your pretty much screwed.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Yep completely agree.

UNLESS my understanding is correct, in which case it's a perfect solution. :duff

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Seriously guys...ung, how hard is it to Understand.
See those pics of the proto with sweat, that's what we're getting and what we've been begging for. That's how it will look. It seems bad cause you keep calling it healthy look. He still looks pale.

The dx is really gonna look sickly. Much paler and possibly with the discoloration around the eyes.

I can't believe this. We got what we want and you guys are _____ing to leave it off again?

I'd you don't want it on your set, ask him personally but we do.
It's like we got what we want but since it wint look as good as dx so now you want it to look like dx. Geez

I think you have completely misunderstood what we have been talking about.

If what you say is correct then wonderful!!! That is exactly what we have been campaigning for.

We or I just got the impression the skin tone would be altered in compromise for the sweat so not to detract from the DX

The question is what we have seen so far, is that 'the pale effect'? If so when you come to open your fullset you may be a little disappointed. We are just trying to understand the statement made by Rainman. I don't think any of us are being negative.

This 3rd photo from Snake eaters post is what I'm expecting it to look like. I think he looks pretty pale, although the lighting has an effect. I'm thinking the DX version will look a little more pale and have the redness under the eyes.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I've only seen this sweat effect from one customizer, lalla on his Bruce lee. Most of the ones I've seen are usually just dabs of gloss.
We're talking pinpoint accuracy of application here. That's 1/6 scale and you can imagine the size of those sweat beads. Lol, I can see why
Rainman didnt want to do it in the first place. That takes time to apply, too much and it'll be too big to look like sweat.
This is an amazing effect and we've finally got what we wish. All we want is to make it look like the proto which it should. That's not photoshopped.

The dx is getting a sicklier paint job.
I'm sorry for being harsh but I can't believe this. We got what we want and people are now _____ing to leave it off?

It will look like this...what we've been asking from Rainman in the first place.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I have only ordered 1 piece from RM direct and I'm foggy on the payment method, he does paypal right and it's an instant withdraw from your linked account, correct?

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Well , I feel much better now that I'm going for the clothing and unpainted sculpt, I don't have to worry about any of this ____!:D

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I'm so confused right now. Can someone please explain to me the difference between the full set and the DX set? And what's all this argument about the sweaty sculpt and the pale sculpt? I would really like to know what's going on

There's no 'quick' version TBH. Id just jump about 10 pages back and start reading. Tough to sum up without making it cloudier.
