Well if you figure the outfit/accessory set is $380ish, and the head by itself is $50-60, and if you use one of the "no name" Truetypes ($25 or so), then that's around $450-475 for all you need except the paint work. So unless SS's paintwork costs $200+, I would think it would be a pretty good way to go, considering SS is one of the best in the business and the full set exclusive isn't much to write home about. The biggest draw for getting a full Rainman figure, to me, is like Teddy says--if you are a hardcore Rainman fanatic, attracted more to the artist/brand than the figure alone. Personally, I am a huge fan of Rainman's work primarily because his sculpting, accessory work, and tailoring. And I don't feel that I have to get a full Rainman figure (including paint work) to have a figure that I'm satisfied with on my shelf. But your mileage may vary there.
