Yeh that is what I plan to do on my final one.

This was just a practice one for the 'method'.

I got the painted hs/clothing set. Would have liked to get the fullset, but. . .I'm only reserving full Rainman pieces for movie characters I really love like the Dude. If he does more Coen Bros. characters, medieval Kurgan, or Hitchcock at some point, then I would probably go full set.

Missed the combined clothing painted head, but got them separately, so paid a little more but still reasonable overall. In the past I have used Triad Omega bodies rather than True Types for the Rainman Gunslingers - felt it gives them a slightly more lanky and accurate look. Of course I still have to get my headsculpts painted from those sets ;p

Picked up clothing set with painted head sculpt. Eagerly awaiting arrival and going to shop for a body now. 30 days is nothing, preorders for hot toys and 3A can take up to a year and sometimes even longer. Godcomplex is the same.
I'll take a custom piece like this and be happy only waiting a month or two.

Now we play the waiting game....

The head and clothing set here but I probably would have gone for one of those two full sets that were available there a while ago had I know about them, still however I always loved lminimi's paint jobs so I'm pretty happy!

Here is my first attempt. Only took a few mins.
