Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

That is the best thing about this version of Doc, the coat! I like long coats on the western characters, as nice as his fancy town clothing would have been there would have been no long coat with that.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Hopefully having Doc in the collection will help heal the wound left from not getting Bill.:(

Not being funny but that is a wound that would never heal for me had I missed out on this MASTERPIECE! You need to get one if you possibly can :monkey3

He's your huckleberry.......you meat-headed ____ sack.

IMO the duster should be Bayou 6130 or something along them lines.

I'm down for that. At least from what I see on my monitor. Its basically a warm grey.

Watching my blu ray I considered it to be a khaki green/stone/grey. I think that Bayou colour was about as close as I could find.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I see the green on my phone screen now

Yes it's a bloody difficult colour to replicate I would imagine. I would say it is khaki green with a bit of grey in it. I like the colour patch I found, think that pretty much nails it but it is whether rainmans tailor can find the right material in that colour

Im really looking forward to Doc in his long coat. That is the image that really sent me over the edge. I know there was talk about the different material, whether it is grey or tan. Was that ever decided?

That's how I'm posing mine.

Yes in the end I am absolutely delighted with the final choice of costume :)

Did you not bite Mags?

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Initially I was not best pleased with the outfit choice but it has definitely grown on me.

I still think it was one of his lesser looks from the movie, from the standpoint of what would work best at showing off Rainman's strengths. I think the tailoring and detail on something like this:

would be much nicer to have on the shelf. Duster look is cool of course, but it hides a lot of the detail in the outfit, and unless you're looking closely or have the duster swung off to one side, doesn't look so different from something you could kitbash for significantly less money than this outfit will cost. For that reason, I'm thinking I'll probably display him sans duster most of the time. Would be screen inaccurate of course, but would allow me to see more of the awesome detail in that black suit and the accessories.

Depends on the scene, he did wear the outfit without the duster during the hunt of the Cowboys. He only put the duster on to pretend he was Wyatt.
