Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

How long on average does it take clothings sets and headsculpts to sell out?

Also, does everything start shipping simultaneously or do clothing sets/headsculpts get shipped at another time?

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Everything ships same time.

I am surprised there are clothing sets left. Imagine today or tomorrow there will be none.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Thats a pity. Not a surprise though. Quality looks out of this world.

I just hope I'll be able to find one in the future.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

If you can afford it, I would heartily recommend you pick up the clothing set and then a painted sculpt.

Only about $50 more and if you regret it now...you will likely regret it more when these sets start shipping.

If history has taught us anything it is that Rainman always betters the prototype by a mile with the production pieces. :lecture

Well, I got Doc's painted and Bill's resin head, in anticipation that I'll get custom clothing for both of them sometime, down the line. But I know its a very very long shot. At the most I can let go of Bill and think that I paid $450 instead of $445 : /

Will think and act soon SE, thanks for the push. :)

I haven't read the 1/6 collectible ethics manual, but I would be willing to buy a clothing set and sell it to you for the same price it cost me (fees and all). If you can come up with the money within a reasonable amount of time I'll ship it to you once you pay. I won't mark up the price.

Why would I do this? Why not.

That would be a very nice thing to do indeed :clap

Ah who am I kidding, don't worry about me!

I'll just commission Doc's vest and tie to recreate an earlier scene from the film. Expensive, yes, but there's not much else I can do.

Thanks for the offer buddy :hi5:

And that will cost you atleast the same amount or more than the entire Rainman fullset.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

meh.

Nothings set in stone. I might end up scrounging around for rainmans set in 3 months:lol

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I'd hold off on commissioning anything, Rainman did say before he might do a v2 Doc sometime in the future did he not? ..he should also do a v2 Bill either in his good clothing or his butcher shop gear, it's great that his best two figures to date have alternate outfits different enough to the originals to warrant new figures.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

He did mention to me a possibility of a different Doc way back when.

I said I wouldn't earlier but yea I soooo would buy a v2 Doc and go for the full set!:lol:slap:lol

I think once all the big names are out of the way we hit a dry spot idea wise for the next figure I think some v2's are in order!:lecture

I am pretty sure I would be all over another Bill in his every day attire. Special item could be clown patterned souvenir waistcoat :lol

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

v.2 Bill? For ____ sakes! Just add some hair and chop off the mustache curl and give me a ____ing Plainview head, ____ on a stick. This is a ____ing conspiracy.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

:lol

I thought you sold your exclusive bloody bill because you can't have two versions of one character?!

It was more the fact I had two versions in the same attire that got me rather than the having two Bills. :lol

I would be all over it!
