Damn fine work on those body mods chili and Robbie. :rock Your pics make it obvious that this piece really needs a body swap to reach its full potential.

You said it Dane. I think I own a wide shoulder truetype that i picked up for my GB customs. I only have this pick with me at work. Can you identify if this is it? If so I'm gonna try it with Anton.

I think it can be achieved with lots of padding but for me it was just easy to do the body swap and chop. I really think that for people that are not as apt at moding, masking tape and paper towels can achieve this same results and will be pretty much free.

I did forget to mention that I had to modify the ankle of the kuastik body because even though they look the same as HT they are not. I pulled the ankle section out and glued in an HT so the pegs would fit the boots.

Im not sure if they're all the same in that pic, tough to tell with the proton packs, but the one on the far right looks to be the right body. :hi5:

Didn't the old wide shouldered truetype figures have the screw in type foot pegs that all of those bodies appear not to have ?.

This what I meant. Found it in my photobucket library.

This is an old truetype but maybe the wrong one. There's way to many 1/6 bodies now. :lol

Ah ok, yeah I think that's a different body. And yes, definitely too many to keep track of nowadays. :lol

Your pics of Anton are almost making me regret passing on this...I sound like a broken record, but it's as close to a perfect figure as you can get with what you've done.

i want that little stewart....man...is he ever going to release that headsculpt?!?!..i would love to get one...i already know the body used for it...and the clothing i could always get from the obitsu series....and WALA...i would have my own stwerat...:)....

Im really curious about this body Elvis suggested cause it seems like Robbies mod was extensive and mine darn sure was to!

I ended up having to dremel the inside of the top half completely out to get it to fit on the t800 legs and stomach
Then I also had to change the waste connector which also included some drilling
then finally dremelled down the huge badonkadonk to get the pants to fit lol.

both of these mods are extensive, but absolutely essential unless the DAM body does the trick. Im pretty sure its gonna need some serious padding as well though..

I think I'm going to lengthen the torso just a touch one mine. Legs look just a little to long compared to the upper. I'll shoot photos of everything I did when I tear him down again.

So chili your mod is complex too? Mine isn't hard per say but it is more then just a body swap.

Some older TTs did have those ankles. I know because I have one. But most don't. Probably varied from figure to figure. Even more recently, the Michael Jackson and Luke Skywalker bodies used that older ankle peg system (very similar to the Sideshow Prometheus). It allows characters wearing socks or with exposed ankles to look a bit less awkward.

The calves of Truetypes are pretty easy to switch out though. . .assuming you don't have one of many TTs that had weak knees that may break in the attempt.

Not hard for you!! :lol I was gonna say there was no way of getting that Kaustic body in these clothes without shaving it down quite a bit. But the butt is much smaller on those than the T-800 so I can see how the pants could fit.

After you cut the neck out how is the sculpt connected to the body?

Yours looks great but that's a big mod for someone like me who's not as confident cutting and drilling. It's easier for me to build a body up then to shave one down.

Both of these mods look great and it's obvious that some work needs to be done to get the right physique. Just curious, how come you split the body in half and did all of that work? You couldn’t just go straight Cap and add padding to the belly and whatever other necessary parts?

pop, on my first set of pics, i did just pad up the cap body significantly, and even the legs but it just wasnt enough to balence out the bottom with the top. So it really did have to be a direct combo of the two bodies, the problem is that they dont just fit together without significant mods to the top half. I gotta take some better non iphone shots of mine cause I really think it looks perfect and my shots before didnt't do it justice
