pop, on my first set of pics, i did just pad up the cap body significantly, and even the legs but it just wasnt enough to balence out the bottom with the top. So it really did have to be a direct combo of the two bodies, the problem is that they dont just fit together without significant mods to the top half. I gotta take some better non iphone shots of mine cause I really think it looks perfect and my shots before didnt't do it justice

Yea I can see past the picture quality and definitely tell that yours has a very similar build and looks as good as Robbie's. I'm really hoping for a easier way out but it looks like that's a dream. Ideally I'm hoping for a single suitable body that will look perfect after a little more padding. I have both an Avengers Cap and a T 800 body on hand. I'm hoping that it'll be good enough for me to just pad the Cap body up and call it a day. I'm dreading a major operation.

Let me ask you this before I go and strip a Cap down for the body:

Aside from putting RM's vest back on did you do any more padding to the upper body?

The giant Arnie bootie has to get shaved down to squeeze in those pants anyway so what makes you feel that the T-800 legs are better than Caps?

Are Caps legs just like the TTM18 or an old Advanced minus the thigh extenders? (On ebay it looks that way. I'm thinking that I can just throw thigh extenders on them and pad out the waist a little and that'll suffice)

Socks idea was a fail. Feet looked way to small. Definitely gonna look into finding bigger feet.

I was hoping to have him by now, but as long as he eventually arrives safe and sound I'll be happy! Yeah, customs is always rough on us anticipating our custom figures! It never ceases to give me a break whether it's coming from as far off as Korea, or as close as Mexico! Sheesh!
Enjoying everyone's pics and videos! Helps in getting some ideas going for when my figure finally comes in! I definitely want him looking at his best once in hand and displayed! Again, congrats, bro!

My one is still in shipment after being delayed due to lack of resin sculpts, I won't be able to display my one straight aways obviously for lack of a painted sculpt and suitable body but I hope to eventually have a great looking figure! I might try and get Silentsurfer to paint the sculpt, I know he has never painted anything for me but that sculpt might tempt him.

No prob! They're the ttm19 hands. Basically the same right hand that came with Anton but not the left. I like to call it the Indy "whip" holding hand.

Here's mine.

And this is the slim-fat suit I'm using. I've had it in my parts case for the longest time and I can't remember which figure it came with.

I also put some cotton pads as shoulder pads using double sided tape. I think they balanced the head size quite well.

i like what you did Commtech....i think i will be going the arny legs and the cap upper body....that combination definitely takes away from the size of the head considerably..

Looks ace bro. That's definitely the realm of where the build needs to be. I'm looking forward to seeing chilipep's clearer pics. I think I'll end up just going with a Cap body and pad it up.

How did you connect the head to the body? I imagining that after you cut the neck off there is no proper way to connect it with a peg
