Anton has graduated from the chimney top, to now joining his brothers on the shelves in my man cave.

Is that Velvet's Batty?

Thanks PopCultKid.

I already ordered the coat from Moe and Comm is helping me with the sash, waiting for Robbie to have the shoes and hat back in stock.

I saw that someone is already making the knife set but I don't know how is that coming along.

What I really need to find is a RM Eagle Eye head, but no luck yet :monkey2

Regards

All of the full sets have an extra accessory but they're not all 1:1. The Butcher is the only one that had a 1:1 extra. The majority of them are 1/6 accessories for the fig like Doc's cup & Wonka's Gobstopper.

I guess it really depends on what level of quality and accuracy your shooting for but RM's outfits for most of his figs aren’t very simple bashes. As far as scoring something official, the outfit sets are hard to find since he only makes 10 per release and it's going to VERY hard to find parted out pieces. It'll be easier to find a full work up (either full set or head & clothes

But you’re looking to build a Butcher at a really good time. People were having trouble finding the right parts for a while so a couple talented Freaks came to the rescue. Robbie made the hat and shoes (I think that's on hold for a minute) and Moe is making the coat. Comtech showed how to make the sash in the "restock on heads" thread. These were pretty much the hardest parts (aside from accessories) to find before and now their accessible. All you'd need after that would be the shirt, vest and pants; there are pretty suitable options out there. The tough part is going to be the knife set & belt.

Nate, please tell me you got the Batty Jacket! One of my favorite costume designs!

Yep, full fig, though that is packed away right now... Displaying for me the more iconic image of Batty.

Yea the outfit looked pretty sweet on this. That's a pretty sick piece. I'm stupid for letting that slide; should've got it while the gettin' was good

My pleasure brother :hi5:. He's been doing these re-runs where he offers most of his old sculpts in a small run, painted and unpainted. It's happened twice so far in the last 4-5-6 (?) months. I don't know his plans are going forward but you'll score one pretty easily if he does it again.

Or just throw up a WTB for an Aeon painted Butcher sculpt :dunno. Maybe someone who just got one from the last recent restock will let there's go.

Anyone any thoughts on what the best 1/6 chair might be to go for the sitting with Carson Wells look ?.

Good question. I really like that display idea too

One of my friends took a look at mine yesterday and his words were " Woah man... that cold stare ".

Rainman really did hit a home run with this one. :lol

I've had a look online at a few places after watching the video and there's not a lot of options. Is the Don Draper 1/6 chair that a few people have custom made ?. I'm probably alone but if the price was there I'd pay to have one made.
I'm fed up of seeing all my figures standing and that scene with Carson is one of the best.

I've not watched the film for a while but I'm not sure if there's ever a clear shot of the chair without Anton sat on it so that could prove to be problematic if we were to have one custom made. I could be wrong though.

I thought of the Draper chair as well. I think that would be a good starting point.

Im not so sure about draper chair. Here's a good look at it, judge for yourself.

While on location in Marfa, Texas, "There Will Be Blood" was shooting nearby. One day, while filming a wide shot of the landscape, directors Joel Coen and Ethan Coen had to halt shooting for the day when a gigantic cloud of dark smoke floated conspicuously into view. Paul Thomas Anderson was testing the pyrotechnics of an oil derrick set ablaze on the set of his film. The Coens resumed filming the next day, when the smoke finally dissipated. A year and a half later, both films were the leading contenders at the Academy Awards

6 years later they were both standing on my shelf in 1/6 form!:yess:
