Man I'm thinking that "help me" chest piece rib cage is necessary even though she wasn't wearing the classic nightgown during that scene. But just having it and knowing that that detail is there......Epic!

There's also the issue of the different stages of demonic possession. I really like the raw wounds but I love the classic rotten wounds with the tube in the nose; but I'd prefer rotten wounds pre-puke because than he has to paint puke on the sculpt and that somthing for the other painters to do as an alternative. So Classic pre-puke Rotten Wounds, ya gotta go with the classic!

It's going to be interesting to see how his creativity takes over with this character because legs and arms need to be sculpted, so a chest piece "help me"......might as well right! Plus it's such an awesome detail.
This is what leads me to believe that Father Karras could be considered since Reagan may be somewhat static with limited articulation; but realistically it's probably gonna be Reagan and Pazuzu with the Bed as a long shot.

All and anything Excorcist by Rainman is going to be pure Gold though! This is going to be an exciting project to watch develop! The Dull Boy project was so fun to watch come together.

That's a cool idea about Lee joining forces with Custom Horror Bases for the bed. Would be cool to see a collaboration like that.

Kinda hoping Lee does make a Father Karras. More I think about it the more I'd like to see Karras in 1:6.

I'd really love to get clarification on what exactly Rainman is going to offer. In my mind, the bed is what would be "the challenge". I don't have experience with the Obitsu bodies, but there are plenty out there and in a wide range of sizes, so a fully articulated figure shouldn't be difficult.

Any accessories, details, alternate sculpts or whatever would be cream on the coffee, but I'm hoping that minimally we're looking at a fully poseable figure and the bed.

The fan base is out there, but I think there will be a higher number of people sitting out on it than on other Rainman projects. For me the subject matter is not something I want on display in my home. I look forward to seeing the final results of it.

Yeah, that's a good point. Regan and the bed really have to be the focus of the set, so in that sense maybe a collaboration is not ideal.

I was reading back in the thread and just saw your comments on Karras...

I know that there's probably more interest in Karras than her, but I think Regan is the special piece here. A lot of sculptors and tailors could pull off Karras as he's pretty basic, not many could pull off Regan with the bed like Rainman can.

If he makes Karras I'd likely be interested. If not, and something else gets organized thru other talents, you can most probably sign me up for that too

I'd be likely interested in any Karras done to a high standard, but I agree that the pair coming from Rainman would feel more uniform and special.

Obitsu bodies are a horrible idea. They are cheap quality. Reagan's legs and arms require special details/ sculpting because of the wounds, bare feet and overall shape for a girl of that age. The arms and legs are just as important as the headsculpt more so than any other project Rainman has had to do that required those parts....hence the "challenge". Sculpted chest plate "help me" rib cage is a must. Sculpted static straight arms not bendable but that can move up "wingspan" style is suitable and static legs sculpted with her bare feet/ball of her foot pointed foward (tippy toe position) just as we see in the elevation scene would be very cool. Some ideas for Rainman to consider. I'd most certainly sacrifice articulation for those details.

Limited articulation with sculpted legs, arms and help me chest plate is the way to go.

The bed doesn't really pose much of a challenge. The frame is an easy enough design and I'm sure because of its potential size it will ship collapsed. CHB is more that prepared to take on that task and that particular collaboration would be perfect but someone would have to broker that arrangement unless of course Rainman decides to go it alone.

In the film Reagan wears 1 pajama set and 3 different night gowns. The Blue nightgown with the frill (Levitation scene) is the Classic clothing and should be used in my opinion.

The sculpt is always going to be the most important thing. Rather than going the out and out, snarling, she-monster route, I'd hope Rainman could capture the fact that there's actually a little girl under all that crap.
