mine is yup (narrow)

As for the loose joints mine was too, because of rainman's chest swap. simply just tighten the screws to tighten the joints works on all my truetypes!

I find this hard to believe.

So I emailed jack and he said: Normal TT you have normal TT right?
hot toys body all sold out. so, we found it very hard.

I don't think that its fair that I got the normal TT instead of the narrow shoulders, as ideally rainman choose narrow shoulders right?I paid like what the other buyers pay for the full set. Why should I be the only one getting the normal (cheaper to get) TT body? Narrow TTs are available on ebay. Even have the newly released one, which is TTM 14. So saying its sold out isn't an excuse. .

If everyone's set is normal body, I would have been fine. But to give me a different body than everyone else's, I'm disappointed that rainman is substituting quality and opted for the easy way out. if this is the direction that rainman is gonna be from now on, then I'm sad to say that this will be the last item I will buy and support from rainman.

Unless, like what Jack said earlier that some get normal TT and some get narrow TT. His' doesn't really count as its bias, since technically he works for rainman. But I doubt that's the case, since most of you so far got the narrow.

I just received mine, on a standard TT as well. however, i have a few spare narrow shoulders around and swapped it over. to me, it wasnt a big deal anyways. the body is in no way cheaper than a narrow shoulder.

Yeah, no biggie. To say that one body (and just the shoulders at that) is not quality is a silly over reaction. I doubt anyone could tell a difference under that bulky coat anyway.

You really feel that way mate? If it was you, would you have reacted a different way? Only time could tell.

Although I do remember a while ago you asking for some buttons from rainman so that you can add them yourself for your v1 tyler shirt. Which you think that the missing buttons took the realism out of the whole look. i could say that a "silly over reaction" as well as I doubt anyone would notice those buttons with that crazy print. But did anyone call you out, and put you down for it? No. Cause we are all trying to get the perfect representation of our fig here. So why you trying to belittle me is something I can't comprehend.

There should a standardization IMO. This isn't a $20 fig. This is just like what happened to manji's joker head that came with fewer strands of hair compared to blakus'. Sure, he can just get some green hair and stick it himself, but for the price he paid, he shouldn't have to.
I hope you'll have the same positive attitude the next time your marla figure came with a slim african american michael jackson body, cause rainman ran out of rhe female body as the body is covered by the coat anyways. Lol.

So you got 1 as well huh? That makes just the 2 of us here.

Unfortunately I don't have any narrow lying around. And for the price, this thing should be perfect IMO.

Check ebay mate, the demand for the narrow is higher than the normal TT. However I think there's gonna be a drop in the price, as the new TTM 14 is out.

Which begs the question, will your regular TT go up in value since all of the new releases are narrow? It just might.

I doubt it.

The reason the narrow is so much in demand is cause everyones changing their old TT body with narrow body, cause they look more natural. I'm talking bout the average fig in general. Although there's still a need for the old body too, for figs like the don, soprano where they need more mass and wider body.

There's still a bunch of normal TTs in my local dealer, while the slim and narrows are out.

I think you are missing the point here. The thing is, I could care less if the price of the regular shoots up to $100. What I'm concern about here is the fact that rainman ideally opted for narrow. But he ran out of narrow, so he just grab the next best thing and throws them in.

I put the cheaper theory in the mix, because jack told me that narrow is all sold out. Which I beg to differ, cause narrow could still be found here in the commerce of ebay, but they are more expensive than the reg TT.

Theres been a couple occasions already that I've needed my old wide shoulder TT's. They will be next to impossibe to get in the future and you never know when you might need that extra width.

this is true! the next wave of tt is also narrow so just grab a narrow body and switch the arms out yourself.
